Privacy policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information — The email address obtained through Google sign-in, and the display name you set
• Activity records — Ratings, reviews, board posts and play records (Want / Playing / Played / Favorite)
• Optional survey — Age range, main device you play on, and similar (answering is optional)
• Data kept on your device — Your display mode, browsing history and roulette or fortune results are stored only inside your own device (browser) and are never sent to our servers
• Technical information — To prevent flooding, we record your IP address in a form that cannot be reversed (a hash) for a short time when you post

2. What we use it for

• Providing service features such as sign-in, profiles and METARANK
• Compiling ratings and rankings (used only as statistics that do not identify anyone)
• Preventing spam and inappropriate posts, and reviewing what is posted
• Investigating problems and improving the service

3. Sharing with third parties

Except where required by law, we never sell or hand personal information to third parties. We use outside infrastructure such as Supabase to store data and AI services to review posts, but only to the extent needed to provide the service.

4. Advertising and measurement

We currently carry no third-party advertising. If we introduce it, we will update this policy and announce it.

Some pages carry affiliate links, including Amazon Associates links. Such links are labeled "PR". Once you move to the linked site, its own policy governs cookies and personal data.

5. Use by minors

metanew! is designed on the assumption that minors will use it. Posting information that identifies a person is prohibited, and posts are operated under review by AI and our team. We also act on deletion requests from parents and guardians.

6. Access, correction and deletion

If you want to see, correct or delete your own information, please contact us through Contact. We will verify who you are and act promptly.

7. Changes to this policy

We revise this policy as needed. Important changes are announced on the site.

Effective from 17 August 2026
