About

Overview

Untitled Forsaken Engine drops up to 25 players into a free-for-all map where Killers hunt Survivors and Survivors try to outlast them. This guide covers picking a role, playing both sides effectively, chasing kills and killstreaks, and collecting the free skins and emotes the game offers.

Your first match — roles and setup

Step
In short Understanding your assigned role before the fighting starts is the single most important thing a new player can do.

When you load in, you pick a character from the available roster — names like Noob, Shedletsky, Guest1337, Slasher, John Doe, and several others are on the list. After that, the game places you on either the Killer side or the Survivor side. Killers are hunting; Survivors are hiding and running.

  1. Pick a character choose based on whichever look or ability appeals to you.
  2. Check your role confirm whether you are a Killer or a Survivor before you move.
  3. Read the rules screen teaming is banned unless the mode explicitly allows it, and cheating or exploiting will get you kicked or banned.

Kills, killstreaks, and badges

Check
In short Stacking kills over many sessions unlocks milestone badges, and individual characters have their own killstreak events that reward both the player on the streak and whoever stops them.

Getting your first kill earns you an entry-level badge, and the targets climb from there — ten kills, one hundred, and one thousand each have their own reward. Beyond raw kill counts, the game tracks killstreaks. Certain characters — including Pastello, Upbeat, Jimothy, Listro Messi, TehPwnz0r, Dan, and Joib — can enter special killstreak events. When one of them is on a streak, other players get a badge for stopping them, and the streaking player earns a badge for winning their run. There are also timed badges tied to real dates: playing during March 14th earns the UFE Anniversary badge, getting a kill as Slasher on Friday the 13th earns the FRIDAY THE 13TH badge, and getting a kill on March 18th as John Doe earns the March 18th badge.

  • Land your first kill to unlock the starter badge and confirm your account is tracking progress.
  • Keep playing across multiple sessions the hundred-kill and thousand-kill badges take real time to reach.
  • Get your first kill streak to unlock the Kill Streak badge.
  • When a named character is running a Killstreak One Bounce or LMS event, decide help them win for a winner badge, or take them down for a stopper badge.
  • Mark March 14th, March 18th, and any Friday the 13th on your calendar if you want the date-locked badges.
  • For the Upbeat badges, either reach a ten-killstreak as Upbeat and survive four minutes, or win outright as Upbeat.

Skins, emotes, and the no-PvP mode

Summary
In short Almost every cosmetic in the game is free, and there is a separate mode for players who want to hang out rather than fight.

The game explicitly states that skins and emotes are mostly free. Exclusive skins and emotes also exist, tied to specific in-game conditions rather than purchases. The game also has a mode where PvP is disabled and the goal is to hang out.

  • Free cosmetics nearly all skins and emotes cost nothing.
  • Exclusive items earned through specific in-game conditions, not purchases.
  • No-PvP mode available for players who want to explore or socialize without fighting.
05

Bugs and what to do about them

Warn
In short The developers built this as a passion project and openly say bugs should be expected.

The game description acknowledges it is prone to bugs.

Worth watching out for
Expect bugs the developers say this upfront, so do not be surprised when something odd happens.
Using bugs on purpose is against the rules and can get you banned.
