Survive The Swarm [CLASSES] is a PvE co-op survival RPG where you fight off massive waves of enemies, collect gold, and upgrade your weapons until you can take down the final boss. This guide covers picking a class, surviving on the map, understanding weapon evolutions, and what to do after you beat the boss.
In shortStarting on Easy and finishing the tutorial is the fastest way to learn how the game works.
Head to the launch platform in the lobby, set the difficulty to Easy, and step on. After you press Start Now, a confirmation screen appears — keep clicking through until the map loads. Your main job in the first run is to finish the tutorial, not to win big.
Choose difficultystand on the lobby platform and select Easy before launching.
Confirm the startpress through the confirmation screen after Start Now.
Collect blue orbswalk a safe path to pick up experience orbs and level up.
In shortTry each class before you commit, because your free choice cannot be undone.
After the tutorial you pick one free class from four options. That choice is permanent, though you can unlock other classes later. Use the Try It Out button to test a class before locking it in. On PC, the Q key activates your class ability, and what that ability does depends on which class you choose.
Warrior
charges into close combat and takes enemies on at the front line.
Ranger
attacks from a distance and keeps enemies at arm's length.
Rogue
uses Shadow Step to move quickly.
Mage
blasts wide areas to clear out large groups at once.

In shortOpening a crate does not equip what is inside — you have to do that yourself in your inventory.
Getting an item and actually using it are two separate steps. After each run, work through your menus in order so nothing slips through the cracks. Check every tab in the inventory screen, not just the first one that opens.
Open the Quests menu and collect any rewards waiting for you.
Open Crates you have earnedthe items go into your inventory, not onto your character.
Check every tab in Inventoryweapons, armor, accessories, and pets.
Confirm that new items show as equipped, not just owned.

How weapon evolutions work
Step
In shortBoth required weapons must reach max level in the same single run for the evolution to appear.
An evolution turns two maxed-out weapons into one much stronger one, but only if you level both of them up inside the same run. The tutorial walks you through Arrowgeddon as an example, which requires both the Bow and Heaven's Arrow. Check Index then Evolutions to see what each evolution needs before you start a run, and pick one to aim for.
Look up the recipeopen Index, then Evolutions, and note both weapons required for your target evolution.
Level them togetherbring the Bow and Heaven's Arrow to level 8 in the same run, not across separate runs.
Watch for the gold optionwhen both weapons are maxed, Arrowgeddon appears as a golden choice in the level-up screen.

Staying alive in the field
Tips
In shortMovement decisions matter more than attack decisions, because attacks fire on their own.
Attacks happen automatically, so your focus should go entirely to where you move.
Tips worth knowing
Route toward experience orbs only when there is a clear path — do not cut through a crowd to grab one.
Move around the outside of a swarm rather than trying to jump over enemies, since jumping over them can still deal contact damage.
Use your class ability before you are fully surrounded, not after.
During boss fights, getting off the red warning zones on the ground is the first priority — move back in once the attack finishes.
In shortThe run is not over when the boss dies — ghosts arrive immediately, and your gold is lost if you go down before you extract.
Defeating the boss opens the extraction phase. Ghosts spawn and the longer you survive them, the more gold you can carry out. But if you are downed before reaching the portal, you lose the gold you had not yet secured. Find the glowing Extract portal, walk up to it, and complete the prompt. On PC, an E indicator appears near the portal.
Worth watching out for
Ghosts appear the moment the boss dies, so do not stop moving.
Scan the area for the glowing Extract portal and head toward the E prompt.
Do not confuse spotting the exit with actually completing the extractionyou have to trigger it.

Common questions
FAQ
My bow is maxed out but Arrowgeddon is not showing up — why?
Arrowgeddon requires both the Bow and Heaven's Arrow to reach level 8 in the same run. Maxing only one of them is not enough.
How many players can be in one room?
A single room holds up to 30 players. Any map you clear in co-op counts as cleared for everyone in the group.
Does raising my pickup radius make my weapons hit farther?
No — pickup radius only affects how far away you can be from a dropped item and still collect it.
Are reroll attempts at the level-up screen always free?
Not always. Some rerolls cost Robux rather than being free. Read the button carefully to see what it will charge before you tap it.
Where do I find redeem codes?
Codes are shared in the game's official Discord server. They can expire or have limited uses, so redeem them as soon as you get one.
