Weapon and ability choices
TableWeapons in Duel Warriors are not interchangeable — they each have different attack speeds and reach. Abilities add another layer on top, from area explosions like Magma Bombs to anime-themed powers.
| Longswords and Katanas | fast attacks, best against quick opponents at close range. |
| Spears and Greatswords | long reach, effective when you want to keep distance. |
| Scythes | unpredictable flight path, harder for opponents to read. |
| Magma Bombs | wide area damage, strong when enemies cluster. |
| Anime-themed abilities | powerful options that can change a fight, currently including event additions like Hierophant Green. |
Two Legendary abilities worth knowing
TipsKnowing what they do — and what they cannot do — will help you use them better and survive them when enemies pull them out.
- Destructive Death: Air puts you in a combat stance for 8 seconds and lets you fire up to 8 red lightning projectiles, each dealing 60 damage and stunning the target on hit.
- Its maximum damage is 480 if every projectile connects, making it one of the strongest combo starters in the game.
- Any melee hit or stunning ability cancels Destructive Death: Air immediately, so never activate it when an opponent is right next to you.
- War Boomerang travels out and returns, dealing 140 damage on the way out and another 140 on the way back, for 280 total when both hit.
- The boomerang blocks incoming projectiles, so you can throw it defensively to knock away long-range shots.
- War Boomerang travels in a straight line, so opponents with strong movement abilities can sidestep it.
