Surviving the Lunar Impact

Step
In short Getting through the Lunar Impact is your first test, and the bunker is the safest place to be.

When the round starts, the Moon awakens and heads straight for Earth. A massive shockwave follows the impact, and if it catches you in the open you will be incinerated. Every player spawns in the Bunker by default — it sits deep underground and shields you from the shockwave and other cataclysms. Staying inside until the impact passes is the straightforward way to survive.

  1. Stay in the Bunker it protects you from the Lunar Impact shockwave automatically.
  2. Reach space before the shockwave hits that is the other safe option if you are already off Earth.
  3. Avoid the shockwave in the open getting caught by it kills you and earns the Incinerated badge instead of Survivor.
  4. Earn the Survivor badge you get it by making it through the impact alive, confirming you cleared the first stage.
  5. Watch the Apollo 11 launch tower elevator getting crushed by it earns the Squished badge, so stay clear of it while you are near the tower.

Teams and the Moonfected

Table
In short Choosing a team changes who you can fight and where you spawn, so pick one that matches how you want to play.

There are three teams in the game. Civilians are the default: neutral, safe from FRIEND Industries and Rebel attacks, and always spawning in the Bunker. Drinking Moonjuice turns you into a Moonfected, shifting you onto an aggressive team that can attack other players. You can also join FRIEND Industries or the Rebels by touching their spawn pads.

Civilianspawns in the Bunker, neutral against FRIEND Industries and Rebels, can fight Moonfected.
Moonfectedcreated by drinking Moonjuice, can kill other players for the Killer badge.
Defendera Civilian who kills a Moonfected earns the Defender badge.
FRIEND Industriesspawns at the FRIEND Industries building on Earth.
Rebelspawns at Gnosis 9; led by Dr. Chen, who claims FRIEND Industries is secretly harvesting Moonjuice-exposed people.

Earning and Spending Cash

Tips
In short Refining Moonjuice into Moon Potions at a Laboratory is the single most profitable thing you can do.

Cash runs almost everything in the game — building structures, refining resources, and reaching the Rich badge at 5,000 cash. The overhaul update added daily rewards, playtime rewards, and quests, all of which give you steady income on top of what you mine and sell.

Tips worth knowing
  • Mine awakened planets and moons with your pickaxe to collect Raw Moonjuice, which sells for $20 a unit.
  • Build a Drill on an awakened planet or moon to collect standard Moonjuice automatically; it sells for $40 a unit.
  • Build a Colossal Juicer (costs $3,500) for a continuous Moonjuice supply.
  • Refine Moonjuice at a Laboratory for $15 to produce Moon Potions, which sell for $70 each — the highest value resource in the game.
  • Keep pushing toward 5,000 cash to earn the Rich badge.
04

Moon Potion Effects

Warn
In short Moon Potions give a powerful but stackable buff — too many and you will fly off the planet.

A Moon Potion is not the same as raw Moonjuice. Drinking Moonjuice infects you and turns you into a Moonfected. Drinking a Moon Potion instead gives you faster speed, a higher jump, and extra health for 30 seconds, with purple sparkle particles as a visual cue.

Worth watching out for
The buff stacks each time you drink another Moon Potion, so multiple doses multiply the speed boost.
Too many stacked doses can launch you off a planet's surface just by walking.
05

Dangerous Planetary Events

Check
In short Several events across the solar system can kill you instantly, so knowing what triggers them keeps you alive.

After the Lunar Impact, the story moves outward into the solar system. Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus awaken, and Neptune chases you. Each event has its own hazard and its own badge for players who trigger or survive it.

  • Stay away from Jupiter getting too close causes Callisto to emerge from inside Jupiter and eat your spaceship, earning the Eaten badge.
  • Survive the Neptune chase by reaching the FriendGate and beating the minigame inside to earn the Skilled! badge.
  • Ride a transport ship through the Neptune chase to earn the 5 Star Pilot badge instead.
  • Getting swallowed by Neptune during the chase earns the Swallowed badge.
  • Build plasma cannons to defeat the Sun and earn the Victory..? badge.
06

Exploration and Distant Locations

Step
In short Sedna is the hardest location to reach and rewards you with the Super Far Away badge for landing on it.

The Build Tool lets you construct colonies, travel structures, and industry buildings on other planets using cash. Sedna sits beyond the Kuiper Belt and is the most remote destination in the game.

  1. Build colonies on other planets place Industry and Space structures to generate cash and resources away from Earth.
  2. Find and land on Sedna beyond the Kuiper Belt touching down there earns the Super Far Away badge.
  3. Complete the Episode 12 ending at Thalaan this can only be done in a public server and earns the Episode 12 Ending badge.

Common questions

FAQ

How do I become a Moonfected?

Drink Moonjuice — the glowing pink liquid you get by mining awakened planets or moons with your pickaxe, or by collecting it from a Drill. Once you drink it you transform into a Moonfected and can attack other players.

Is there a badge I can only earn on a public server?

Yes. The Episode 12 Ending badge requires you to finish the Episode 12 storyline at Thalaan, and it can only be earned in a public server. Private servers will not count.

How do I survive the Neptune chase?

Head for the FriendGate and complete the minigame inside it — that is what earns the Skilled! badge. If you are flying a transport ship when you make it through, you earn the 5 Star Pilot badge instead.

Can drinking too many Moon Potions hurt me?

The speed buff stacks every time you drink one, and enough stacked doses will make you move so fast that walking launches you off the planet's surface. It will not infect you, but losing your footing in open space is its own problem.
