Getting started

Step

In short Finish the tutorial first, then start rolling.

When you first join, a tutorial walks you through the basics. Completing it earns you the Tutorial Complete! badge. From there, the loop is simple: roll, see what ability you land, and keep going.

Finish the tutorial you earn the Tutorial Complete! badge.
Roll ten times reaching ten rolls earns your first roll-count badge.
Check your ability after each roll, look at what you got and how strong it is.

Hidden Doo characters

In short Exploring the map to find all twelve Doo characters earns you a badge for each one found.

Twelve different Doo characters are hidden around the map. Finding each one earns its own badge. Their badge descriptions hint at their personalities, but their exact locations are yours to discover.

Tips worth knowing

Evil Doo is the darker version of the bunch.
Grumpy Doo lives up to its name.
Cute Doo is exactly what it sounds like.
Yam Doo, Kaio Doo, and Nano Doo each have their own quirks — Nano Doo is described as liking potions.
Nightmare Doo, Saiyan Doo, and Scuba Doo round out the mid-range finds.

Ability badges and what they mean

In short Six of the seven ability badges can currently be earned — Metal Sonic is locked for now.

Rolling can land you abilities tied to specific badges. Metal Sonic's badge is explicitly marked as unobtainable right now.

HIT described as having time on your side.
KAIOKEN described as times ten.
NANOTECH described as beep boop bop.
EXPLODE an explosive ability.
SONIC built around moving fast.
SUPER SONIC described as having chaos in your hands.
METAL SONIC currently unobtainable; the badge itself says so.

Glossary

Roll: The core action of the game — you roll to randomly receive an ability, which can range from weak to very strong.
Doo: One of twelve hidden characters scattered around the map; finding each one earns a badge.
Unobtainable: An item or badge that exists in the game but cannot currently be earned — Metal Sonic falls into this category right now.

No. Some abilities are stronger than others.

Can I get the Metal Sonic badge?
