Setup before the first wave
Step
When you load in, you have a room and a pool of cash. Place your defenses around your pet before you start the wave.
- Check your cash see exactly how much you have before you build anything.
- Place walls and defenses around your pet.
- Start the wave once you have built your defenses.

Growing your defense between waves
Tips
Enemies get stronger with each wave. Collect your reward after each wave and put it back into your base.
- Collect your cash reward as soon as a wave ends.
- Add new defensive structures to cover more ground.
- Upgrade existing structures to raise their firepower and durability.
- Position new placements with your pet's location in mind.
- Think about the route zombies travel and line your defenses along it.

Check
Coordination matters. If everyone builds in the same spot, large areas stay unprotected.
- Divide the map into zones and assign each player a section to defend.

FAQWhat happens when my pet dies?
The game ends. Your pet being killed by zombies is the lose condition.
Can defensive structures be destroyed?
Yes, zombies can break your structures during a wave. Any structure that goes down needs to be rebuilt with cash, or it leaves a gap in your defense.
Is there a final wave where you win?
The game does not define a set number of waves to clear. The goal is to protect your pet for as long as you can.
How many players can defend together?
Up to six players can play in the same room. Working together lets the group build a much more complete defense than a single player can manage.
