The horror elements are really strong and it's pretty gory. But the combat system is fairly simple and the animations are cool. I want people to try it at least once.

Where beginners should start

Guide

01 Blade clashing and blocking — the combat core Managing combat stamina through well-timed blade clashes and frequent blocks is what keeps you alive in a fight.
02 QTEs and CHAIN's special attacks Failing CHAIN's Choke QTE kills you instantly, so recognising the windup and preparing your input is critical.
03 Guns — when to shoot and when to hold back Guns deal good damage and earn deflection fast, so use them selectively rather than freely.
04 Earning and keeping your points Surviving the night and dealing damage are your biggest point sources, but scraps are the safest backup when you are not in a fight.
