Meme Sea is an ocean-based RPG where you level up, collect powers, fight Meme Beasts, and compete on leaderboards in a meme-filled world. This guide walks you through getting started, finding powers, taking on Meme Beasts, and staying competitive — so you spend less time confused and more time progressing.
In shortJoining the Meme Sea Group and learning the controls before you do anything else puts you ahead from the start.
The very first thing to do when you load in is join the Meme Sea Group, which gives you a 10% boost to money, experience, and gems at no cost. After that, spend a minute running through the controls so movement and abilities feel natural before you start fighting. If you are a Premium player, that boost rises to 25% across the same three currencies. The community server is also worth joining early — codes and update news get posted there first.

Powers are your main tool in combat, and they come in four rarities. Every hour, one spawns under a tree somewhere in the world; after 30 minutes it disappears, so you need to check regularly. Common powers are easy to find and good for learning the game. Legendary powers are the strongest but the hardest to come across.
Common
Fly, Invisible, and Bomb
Uncommon
Spin, Barrier, and Diamond
Rare
Flame, Paw, Ice, Gold, Water, Sand, Snow, and Moai
Legendary
Dark, Dog, Dough, and Floppa

In shortMeme Beasts reward preparation — have a power equipped and consider teaming up before one appears.
Meme Beasts are special enemies that appear randomly in the sea every 30 minutes. Going in with a power equipped gives you a real advantage, and fighting alongside other players makes the encounter much more manageable. Since they show up on a timer, you have time to prepare between spawns.
Tips worth knowing
Meme Beasts spawn randomly in the sea every 30 minutes
Always have a power equipped before you engage
Team up with nearby players when you can

Leveling up
Tips
In shortDefeating enemies while keeping your boost active is the core loop for reaching the level cap of 2400.
Defeating enemies is the main way to earn experience. Your group or Premium boost applies to every bit of experience you earn, so having one active at all times matters. The current level cap is 2400.
Tips worth knowing
Defeat enemies to earn experience
Make sure your Group boost is active so no experience goes unboosted
Powers spawn under the tree every hour and despawn after 30 minutes — check regularly
06
Leaderboards and how they reset
Tips
In shortBecause leaderboards reset every hour, short concentrated bursts of activity matter more than slow grinding across a whole session.
The leaderboard resets automatically every hour, which means every player starts from zero at the top of each hour.
Tips worth knowing
Reset interval — every 1 hour, automatically
Group (10%) or Premium (25%) boost applies to money and exp
07
Redeem codes
Warn
In shortCodes expire and can only be used once, so redeem any new code the moment you see it.
Codes hand out rewards like money, experience, and gems when entered in the game's dedicated input field. Each code only works once per account, and some have expiry dates. The community server is the fastest place to spot new codes as they drop.
Worth watching out for
Each code can only be redeemed onceentering it a second time does nothing
Some codes expire, so do not save them for later; enter them immediately
Check the community server regularlythat is where new codes are announced first
