Active Ragdoll Physics Guide: How your ragdoll body works
About
OverviewActive Ragdoll Physics, made by Odd Physics, puts you inside a real physics body that stumbles, falls, and gets back up exactly as the simulation decides. Up to twelve players share one room, messing around with lab machines, pulling off stunts, hunting hidden spots, and surviving random disaster events.

Active Ragdoll Physics
How your ragdoll body works
CheckYour character holds itself upright using its own simulated muscles. Take a hard hit or too much speed and those muscles give out — you flop to the ground for real. The moment that happens, press jump to stand back up. Your weight, grip, and momentum are all part of the simulation, so movement takes a little getting used to.
- Press jump to get back up after any fall or flop
- Climb ladders and walls using only your hands
- Grab props and push heavy crates around the lab
- Pick up other players and carry or throw them
Lab machines and what to try
TipsThe lab holds a wide range of physics machines, each one hitting or launching your ragdoll in a different way.
- Slam hammer, punch machine, plinko, tumble drum, and spinners are all in the lab to throw your body around
- The catapult and ski jump are available in the lab
- Fire yourself out of the cannon to build distance fast
- The grapple hook lets you swing — use it to attempt Loop the Loop
- Crashing a kart and looping a swing are also available
Stunt badges and how to earn them
StepFour badges reward specific physical feats.
- Pancake hit the ground at 120 studs per second
- Human Cannonball travel 200 studs in a single launch
- Frequent Flyer stay in the air for four straight seconds
- Loop the Loop complete a full revolution on the swing
Hidden spots and how to reach them
StepThe map has locations that are not obvious from ground level. Reaching any of them pops a badge automatically the moment you arrive.
- King of the Tower climb the stair tower all the way to its roof
- Up the Water Tower find the water tower and climb to its very top
- Crane Operator reach the arm of the crane
- Rooftop Runner find the small hut on the alley roof
Disaster events and surviving them
TableEvents fire automatically during a session — you do not trigger them yourself.
| Nuked | survive a nuke |
| Storm Chaser | survive a tornado |
| Struck by Lightning | survive a lightning storm |
| Shaken Up | survive an earthquake |
| Washed Away | survive a flood |
| Moonwalker | play during moon gravity |
| Ice Skater | survive the ice world |
| Crate Rain | survive a rain of crates |
| Airstrike | survive an airstrike |
| Orbital Drop | witness the orbital drop landing; you do not need to survive it, only see it hit |

Common questions
FAQHow do I get back up after I fall?
Press the jump button and your ragdoll will stand back up.
Do I have to do anything special to trigger a disaster event?
No — events happen on their own during a session. The one exception is Orbital Drop, which only requires you to see the impact rather than survive it.
What is the easiest way to earn Loop the Loop?
Get on the swing in the lab and swing all the way over the top.
Can I climb anywhere on the map or only on ladders?
Your hands can grab walls and ledges as well as ladders, so most vertical surfaces are climbable.
