Mode order for new players
StepThe game offers four modes: Easy, Medium, Boss Fights, and Sandbox. Clearing Easy is its own milestone before Medium opens up as your next test. Sandbox lets you try out characters and enemy behavior at any time.
- Play Easy Mode clear it to earn the Beat Easy Mode! badge.
- Go for the Solo Easy badge attempt Easy without teammates to earn the Solo Easy Mode badge.
- Move to Medium Mode once Easy feels comfortable, take on Medium.

Intermission shop and shared rewards
TipsBetween waves there is a break period called the intermission. The shop opens during this time, and any upgrades you purchase carry into the next wave. Rewards are shared across everyone in the server.

Titan Call and character abilities
CheckEvery character in the game has completely unique abilities. Titan Call is a specific in-game ability available to players.
- Use Titan Call at least once the first time you activate it you earn the Special Forces badge.
- If playing with others, uninfecting an infected player character not an enemy — earns The Doctor badge.
Hard-mode goals and modifier runs
TableTwo badges sit at the very end of what the game asks. Battle Warrior requires a positive modifier run; Waste of Time requires all negative modifiers. Stack EXP and Screws rewards to reach the 150% positive modifier threshold needed for Battle Warrior.

- A set number of enemies that rush the players at once; waves grow harder the further you progress.
