Getting started with your base

Step

In short Expanding your plot and filling every slot with Bobos is the first thing you should do.

When you first load in, your base already has some Bobos sitting in slots. Tap them to collect the cash they have earned, then put that cash straight back into expanding your plot so you can unlock more slots. The more slots you have running, the faster everything else in the game moves.

Buy a plot expansion spend that cash to open up extra slots in your base

Your starting Bobos won't be enough to fill a fully expanded base, so you need to bring in more from outside. Three routes are open to you, and using all three together is the fastest way to build a big collection.

Sneak into the field and steal Bobos from it directly, but stay out of the guards' line of sight or they will chase you off
Break into other players' bases to grab Bobos they have placed there — guards patrol these too
Use the trade and gift system to swap Bobos with friends, which is especially useful for tracking down types you are missing from your Index
