First steps after the tutorial
StepThe game gives you a short tutorial when you first join — finish it before doing anything else. After that, your priority is keeping the food bowls filled, because cats only spawn when food is present. Once cats start arriving, place a toy or two so they have somewhere to play.
- Complete the tutorial it walks you through the core loop and you earn a badge for finishing it.
- Buy food head to the computer near your base entrance and purchase food, then place it using the Food button at the bottom of the screen.
- Place toys cats will use them as soon as they arrive.
- Check for dirty cats a cat that needs a shower will not recover happiness until you clean it.

The next survey is being prepared.
How happiness changes your earnings
TableEach cat has a happiness meter, and that meter directly scales how much cash it produces.
| Full happiness meter | cat earns at 1.5x the normal rate |
| Low happiness meter | cat earns at only 0.7x the normal rate |
| Petting | raises happiness |
| Treats | give up to three per cat before they get tired of them |
| Shower | required when a cat becomes dirty; happiness will not recover otherwise |
Choosing food wisely
TipsCheap Kibble is the entry point, but the multipliers scale steeply as you move up. Some high-end foods cost Paw Pennies rather than coins, which is a separate currency. Duration matters too — longer-lasting food means fewer trips back to the shop.
- Cheap Kibble lasts 2 hours and costs $120, giving 1.00x money and 1.15x rarity.
- Sardines Can lasts 5 hours and costs $55k, pushing you to 1.85x money and 1.65x rarity.
- Sashimi Plate lasts 8 hours for $85k and hits 2.1x money and 1.85x rarity.
- Steamed Milk gives 2.95x money and 3.00x rarity but only lasts 1 hour and costs $1M.
- Bento and Farm Breakfast cost Paw Pennies instead of coins.
Making a cat permanent and collecting memoirs
StepWhen you permanently add a cat to your base it hands you a memoir — a keepsake that boosts your cash multiplier and raises the odds of rarer cats appearing. These bonuses stay active even after you remove the cat from your base. Memoir strength scales with the cat's rarity.
- Collect the memoir it is added to your Memoir Book automatically and its bonuses activate immediately.
- Common memoirs add 1.05x rarity and 1.1x money.
- Rare memoirs step up to 1.15x rarity and 1.2x money; Epic ones reach 1.3x on both.
- Mythic memoirs such as Detective Kibble's Briefcase or Moo's Bottle of Milk give 1.85x rarity and 1.75x money.
- To remove a permanent cat, tap it and go to Details the memoir bonuses stay even after removal.

Events
TipsWhen an event is running, a dedicated shop appears on the map selling exclusive toys, food, treats, and cats in exchange for the event's special currency. Events are limited-time, so the cats and items from them cannot be obtained after they end.
- The Firefly Festival was added on July 1, 2026 and introduced cats Kevin and Glowy along with a new shop in the middle of the map.
- Leaf Fest was added on August 30, 2026 and introduced Leafee, Maple, Evergreen, Sunleafy, Prismy, and Chip.

Common questions
FAQWhy are no cats showing up at my base?
Cats only spawn when food is in the food bowls. Open the shop at the computer near your base entrance, buy food, and place it using the Food button at the bottom of the screen. Once food is present, cats will start appearing on their own.
How do I remove a permanent cat?
Tap the cat on your base and select Details, then choose to remove it. The memoir it gave you stays in your Memoir Book and keeps its bonuses even after the cat is gone.
What do the coin milestones require?
Each milestone — 1M, 50M, 100M, and 1B — requires you to have that amount of coins at once, not in total over time.
