Getting started in your base
StepWhen you join the game, your base is already waiting for you. Walk around it to get a feel for how much space you have, then open the menu and try placing a block or two. Changing a color or removing what you just placed teaches you how the tools respond.
- Walk the base take a lap around your starting area to understand how much room you have to work with.
- Open the block tool find it in the menu and place a test block somewhere out of the way.
- Try the color tool change the test block's color a few times to see how the options work.
Picking a theme before you build
TipsA quick decision — a castle, a school — gives every block a purpose. Build the rough shape first, then go back and add detail and color once the structure feels right.
- Rough out the basic shape with plain blocks before you worry about colors.
- Swap color combinations once the shape is done — a single color change can completely transform how a build looks.
Inviting friends and building together
CheckJust Build! lets multiple players work in the same base at the same time, and every change is visible to everyone in the room instantly. Use the invite feature in the menu — you can enter a friend's username directly or share an invite code.
- Has your friend logged into Roblox before you send the invite?
- Did you share the invite code correctly codes can expire, so generate a fresh one if the first attempt fails.
- Have you agreed on who builds which section so no one accidentally works over someone else?
- Have you agreed not to touch any part that is already finished?
Fixing common building problems
WarnWhen a block does not land where you expected, or a button stops responding, the cause is almost always something simple. Run through these checks before you assume something is broken.

Common questions
FAQMy friend can't get into my base even though I sent an invite — what should I do?
First confirm your friend is logged into Roblox. Invite codes can expire, so generate a new one and send it again rather than resending the original.
The game is getting really slow while I build — how do I fix it?
A very large number of blocks in one area can slow things down. Try removing some blocks you do not need, or move to a different part of the base. Restarting your device can also help if the slowdown is severe.
A friend deleted part of my build — is there any way to get it back?
Check whether the game offers any undo option in the menu. Talk to your building partners about which sections are off-limits before you start.
Do I need to spend Robux to build freely?
No — blocks and colors are available without spending anything, and inviting friends to your base is also free.
