The core loop — paint, sell, upgrade

In short Finishing and selling your first painting teaches you everything the game is built on.

Every session follows the same rhythm: complete a painting, sell it for cash, then put that cash back into your studio. As your studio grows, you unlock new artists and features that let you produce better work faster.

  1. Finish your first painting completing it earns the First Stroke badge.
  2. Sell that painting the sale earns you money and unlocks the Sold! badge at the same time.
  3. Reinvest in your studio upgrades open new artists and studio features.

Painting star ratings

Tips
In short Pushing your paintings toward four or five stars is one of the clearest goals the game gives you.

Every finished painting receives a star rating. Hitting four stars unlocks the Four-Star Artist badge; hitting five stars unlocks Five-Star Artist.

Tips worth knowing
  • A four-star or higher painting earns the Four-Star Artist badge.
  • A five-star painting earns the Five-Star Artist badge, the highest painting achievement in the game.

Unlocking World 2 — the Museum

Prestige — starting over stronger

Once you complete your first prestige, you earn the Fresh Canvas badge. The game restarts you from scratch, but you come back in a stronger state than your original run.
