Four things keeping you alive
CheckThe game gives you four interlocking problems at once. Let any one of them slip and the others fall apart fast.
- Keep the campfire burning it is your main source of warmth and light.
- Collect food without regular nutrition your ability to keep going fades.
- Build and maintain your hut shelter is your buffer against the cold.
- Watch the dark something dangerous is out there.
Upgrading the campfire
StepThe campfire can be upgraded through several levels. The top level burns brightly enough to light the entire Frostlands. If you let the fire die instead of upgrading it, you earn the Bye Bye Fire badge.
- Reach level 3 this is the first upgrade milestone and unlocks the Ignite I badge.
- Reach level 4 unlocks the Ignite II badge.
- Reach level 5, then 6 unlocks Ignite III and Ignite IV.
- Reach level 7 the maximum level, bright enough to light the full Frostlands and the goal of the entire Ignite badge series.
Playing with a team
TipsCo-op is not just window dressing here. Reviving teammates and defending the camp together are both tracked by the game as achievements.
- Carry a Bandage, Medkit, or Vaccine so you can revive a fallen teammate the moment they go down.
- When a tribal raid hits the camp, everyone needs to defend at once; the Camp Guardian badge is earned by successfully defending the camp from a full tribal raid.
Entities and other threats
WarnA recent update added six entities that appear at random locations each run. The He's Behind You badge is earned by getting jump-scared while turning around in fog. Separately, survivors are scattered across the map and can be rescued — but if you reach them too late, they are gone for good.
Night milestones to aim for
TableBadges mark every ten nights up to 100, then jump to 250, 500, 1000, and 2000. Treat them as a built-in progression ladder.
| Night 10 | your first milestone in the frost. |
| Night 50 | halfway to legend; the snow no longer scares you. |
| Night 100 | the game frames this as the point where you stop surviving and become a myth. |
| Night 250 | the game describes you as becoming part of the land itself. |
| Night 500 | only the blizzard remembers. |
| Night 1000 and 2000 | the furthest milestones the game tracks. |

Common questions
FAQWhat happens if the campfire goes out?
Letting the fire die earns you the Bye Bye Fire badge. The campfire can be upgraded from level 3 up to level 7, with the maximum level burning brightly enough to light the entire Frostlands.
How do I revive a teammate?
Use a Bandage, Medkit, or Vaccine on them while they are down.
Does the game end at night 99?
No — badges continue past 99 all the way to 2000 nights, so the survival challenge keeps going well beyond the title. Night 100 is a major milestone, but it is nowhere near the end of what the game tracks.
How many players can join one session?
A single room fits up to 25 players.
