Lucky Block Tower — How a run works
About
OverviewLucky Block Tower is a Roblox obby where you climb a tower using Lucky Blocks that can either help or sabotage you. Every block's effect is random, so no two runs play out the same way. This guide covers how to start, how to handle troll effects, and how to reach the top.

How a run works
StepWhen you join, you receive Lucky Blocks and use them to climb the tower. The effects are random every time, so your first job is simply to see what you got and start moving. Failing a run is not the end — you can jump back in and get a completely different set of blocks.
- Expect troll effects some blocks will work against you; that is part of the game, not a bug.
- Restart freely if a round goes badly, hop into the next one for a fresh set of blocks.
Lucky Block effects: helpful vs. troll
TableLucky Blocks split into two types. Helpful effects push you up the tower faster, while troll effects are designed to slow you down or knock you off course. Because the split is random each run, you will sometimes get a great hand and sometimes a rough one.
| Troll effects | interfere with your movement or make the platforming harder to control. |
| Distribution | the mix of helpful and troll blocks changes every single round. |
Tower goals worth aiming for
CheckThere are two distinct tower challenges. Clearing the first means surviving every troll on the way up and reaching the summit. The second is a harder version aimed at players who found the first manageable. There is also a limited event item tied to a squid-game-themed Lucky Block.
- Reached the top of the standard tower you have beaten all the trolls and completed the main climb.
- Beaten the Hard Tower cleared the tougher version reserved for obby veterans.
- Claimed the Squid Lucky Block picked up the limited squid-game-inspired gear during its event window.

Common questions
FAQCan I choose which Lucky Block effects I get?
No — the blocks are handed out randomly at the start of each round. Getting a different set is as simple as playing another round.
What do I do when a troll effect knocks me back?
Shake it off and keep climbing. Troll effects are part of the design, and a new round means a completely fresh set of blocks.
Is there anything harder to do after the main tower?
Yes. Once you can clear the standard tower, try the Hard Tower — the game itself calls that the obby pro challenge.
