Controls to learn before your first round
CheckIn short
Knowing every key before a round starts means you react instead of fumbling.
The game shows you the rules before each round begins, so take a few seconds to read them. Getting the controls into muscle memory first means you can focus on the actual challenge rather than the keyboard.
- Shift sprint to move faster across the map
- Alt or Control toggle shiftlock to fix the camera behind your character
- F push or interact with something in the game world
- G taunt, which lets you point or gesture at other players

Every minigame and how to approach it

Each game has a simple rule, but timing and reading other players is what actually wins it.
There are eleven games in the current rotation. Some are solo survival tests, some are team efforts, and a couple lean heavily on luck. Knowing what each one demands stops you from being caught off guard.
Tips worth knowing
- Red Light, Green Light — freeze the instant the signal stops
- Dalgona — work carefully to finish the shape before time runs out
- Tug of War — everyone on your team must pull in the same direction at the same time or your effort is wasted
- Marbles — this is a psychological game against one other player
- Glass Stepping Stones — luck plays a large role
- Jump Rope — match your jumps to the rhythm and follow the player at the front of the group

In short
In team rounds, moving together beats individual effort every time.
Several games require strangers to cooperate instantly. You can use the F key to push and interact, and the G key to gesture at teammates when chat is too slow.
Tips worth knowing
- Tug of War — everyone must pull in the same direction
- Jump Rope — lock onto the leading player's timing
- Any team game — use the G taunt to point and signal when you cannot type fast enough
Glossary
Glossary- Shiftlock
- A camera mode toggled with Alt or Control that locks the view directly behind your character, making movement easier to aim.
- Exploit
- Cheating software or tricks that abuse bugs in the game; using one results in a permanent account ban.
- Dalgona
- The honeycomb candy challenge from Squid Game, recreated here as a precision minigame where you must cut out a shape without breaking it.
- Taunt
- A gesture triggered with G that lets you point or emote at other players, useful for signalling teammates.
Common questions
FAQI keep getting eliminated in Red Light, Green Light. What am I doing wrong?
The detector is strict, so your character needs to be completely still the moment the signal changes. Start moving only after green is called, and stop immediately when red is called.
