The basic loop every run follows

Step
In short Every round of play follows the same four steps.

The whole game revolves around a repeating cycle. You buy, you cook, you stock, and you sell — then you start again.

  1. Buy ingredients head to the desk and purchase what you need to start cooking.
  2. Cook in the kitchen unbox your ingredients, drop them into the pot, and wait for them to finish.
  3. Stock the shelves carry the finished food out to your shop and place it on display.
  4. Scan and collect when customers arrive, scan their bags and take their payment.

What the tutorial and goals actually unlock

Check
In short Completing goals is the only way to unlock new recipes.

The game tracks your progress through a series of goals. Finishing the tutorial gets you comfortable with the core loop. After that, each goal you clear opens up a new recipe. Clearing goals also puts you on the path to paying off your shop loan — and once that debt is gone, you can expand into a larger space and eventually complete your shop by building out all the shelves and counters.

  • Complete the tutorial to get comfortable with the core loop.
  • Pay off the shop loan as a milestone it unlocks the ability to expand.
  • Build out the expanded shop fully to reach the Fully Built milestone.
  • Unlock new recipes by clearing goals.

Keeping customers coming through the door

Tips
In short A full, well-decorated shop draws more customers.

Customer footfall responds to how your shop looks and how stocked it is. Two things influence it: how much food is on display, and how attractive the shop itself appears.

Tips worth knowing
  • Keep your shelves stocked at all times — an empty shelf brings in fewer customers than a full one.
  • Restock regularly so you never hit a point where the shop is bare.
  • Spend some of your earnings on decor items to make the shop look more appealing.
05

Playing without spending real money

Summary
In short Everything the game asks you to do is achievable using only the money you earn in-game.

Cook & Sell can be completed without any real-money purchases. The cook-and-sell cycle generates all the currency you need to buy decor, expand your shop, and work toward every goal.

  • Core loop earns all the in-game currency you need to advance.
  • Decor and equipment purchasable with earnings from sales.
  • Shop expansion funded by paying off your loan through regular play.
06

Features coming later in development

Table
In short Several big systems are still being built, so the game will change noticeably as updates arrive.

Because the game is in Alpha, major features are still being added.

NPC and friend workershireable staff to help run the shop.
New appliancesoven, grill, blender, and freezer planned for future updates.
Food advertisinga mechanic to actively attract more customers.
Eat-in seating areaa dedicated space for customers to sit and eat in the shop.
07

Redeem codes

Tips
In short Codes are limited-time and single-use, so redeem them as soon as you see them.

The game distributes redeem codes periodically. Each code can only be used once, and they are available for a limited time before they expire.

Tips worth knowing
  • Use codes in the in-game input area as soon as possible before they expire.
  • Each code is one-use only, so you cannot reuse a code on the same account.

Common questions

FAQ

What should I do first when I start playing?

Go to the desk, buy ingredients, cook them in the kitchen, then stock your shelves and sell to customers. Run through that cycle to build up money, and keep an eye on your current goal.

How do I unlock new recipes?

Complete the in-game goals — each one you finish unlocks a new recipe.

My sales are slow. What can I do?

Make sure your shelves are always stocked, because customers are drawn to a full shop. Spending some earnings on decor also increases foot traffic.

When can I expand my shop?

You can expand once you have earned enough to pay off your starting loan. After that, building out all the shelves and counters in the expanded space completes the shop build.
