Jump To Steal An Egg is a Roblox game where you jump up to steal eggs, escape the pets guarding them, and carry the eggs back to your pen to hatch them into new pets. Those pets earn you cash while you play — and even while you're offline — which you spend on upgrades to reach higher eggs.
In shortGetting one egg all the way from steal to hatch is the first goal, and every run after that follows the same four steps.
Everything in this game flows from one cycle. You jump to an egg, grab it, escape the pets guarding it, drop it in your pen, and wait for it to hatch. Once you understand each step in order, the rest of the game builds naturally on top of it.
Find your penbefore anything else, learn where your pen is so you always know the way home.
Pick a low eggstart with eggs on easy-to-land platforms so you can practice the grab without a long fall.
Check the guard petslook at where they are moving before you grab, and wait until your escape route is clear.
Steal the eggon PC, walk up to the egg and press E when the Steal prompt appears; on mobile, use the on-screen button.
Head straight homeonce you have the egg, take the shortest route back to your pen without detours.
Place the egg in your penset it down properly and confirm the hatch timer starts counting.
In shortWalking the path home before you pick up an egg saves you from getting caught on the way back.
Getting caught right after stealing can be a route problem. If you plan the path home while your hands are empty, you can focus entirely on running when the moment comes.
Tips worth knowing
Walk the return path without an egg first so you can spot awkward corners or drops before they matter.
Watch the guard pet patrol for a moment before grabbing so you know which direction is open.
If the same egg beats you several times in a row, move to an easier one, earn more cash, then return later.
In shortBuy jump upgrades when you cannot reach a platform, and look at your route before you rely on trail equipment to solve escape problems.
You have two main tools for getting better at moving around the map. Jump power determines how high you can reach, and trail equipment speeds up your movement. They solve different problems.
Jump Power
buy this from the Upgrades area near your pen when you cannot reach the next platform; always test the platform empty-handed after purchasing.
Trail
equip this when you can already reach eggs but keep getting caught on the run home because your movement is too slow.
05
Choosing which pets to keep
Tips
In shortAlways compare pets by their cash-per-second number, not by how rare or impressive they look.
Every pet you hatch sits in your pen and generates cash continuously — including while you are offline. When your pen fills up, you have to decide which pets stay and which go. The only number that matters for that decision is the income figure shown on each pet.
Tips worth knowing
Read the income display as a rate per second — the label shows /s after the number.
K means one thousand, M means one million, and B means one billion — always read the letter after the number, not just the number itself.
When your pen is full, compare the new pet's income to the lowest earner already inside before deciding whether to swap.
Before you log off, check that your best-earning pets are active in the pen so they keep earning cash while you are away.
06
Pet Index and Rebirth
Check
In shortCheck the Pet Index after every new hatch, and read the Rebirth confirmation screen fully before you commit to it.
Two features change the shape of your progress. The Pet Index tracks every species you have ever hatched and can reward you for new discoveries. Rebirth resets your cash and jump power in exchange for a permanent income bonus.
Open the Pet Index each time you hatch a new species and check whether a reward is waiting to be collected.
Note that the egg names on the map and the entries in the Pet Index are separate thingsmatch both to find a specific species.
Before hitting Rebirth, read the confirmation screen and note exactly which stats reset and what bonus you receive.
After a Rebirth, your jump power will drop sharplythis is intended, not a bug, so plan to re-upgrade before going for high eggs again.
07
Mistakes that end your run early
Warn
In shortThe three most common ways to lose progress are touching a guard pet, failing to place the egg properly, and skipping the Rebirth confirmation.
A few specific errors come up again and again for new players. Knowing them in advance means you can avoid the frustration of losing an egg you worked hard to steal.
Worth watching out for
Touching a guard pet while carrying an egg ends that runif a pet is close, wait or take another path.
Dropping the egg on the ground near your pen is not the same as placing ityou must complete the placement action and see the hatch timer begin.
Figuring out your route after you grab the egg is too latealways have the path planned before you steal.
Skipping the Rebirth confirmation screen means you may not realise how much your jump power will drop until it is already done.

Common questions
FAQ
What causes a run to fail?
A run fails when a guard pet catches you while you are carrying an egg, or when you cannot get the egg back to your pen. Plan your escape route before you steal, and run straight home without detours once you have the egg.
Do my pets earn cash when I am not playing?
Yes, pets continue earning cash while you are offline. Before you log out, make sure your pets are active in your pen so they count toward your income.
What do the letters after income numbers mean?
The /s label means the amount earned per second. K stands for one thousand, M stands for one million, and B stands for one billion. Always read the letter as well as the number when comparing two pets.
How many players share a room?
Each room holds a maximum of five players.
