What every position actually does

Summary
In short Picking the right position shapes your whole match, and the goalkeeper slot always gets filled by a bot if nobody takes it.

Each of the six positions has a defined job. The goalkeeper is the only role that adds a bot automatically when left empty, so if nobody volunteers your team is stuck with AI in goal.

Center Forward your team's main scorer and distributor; how well they play can decide the whole result
Right Wing supports the CF on the right and takes passes when the CF is under pressure
Left Wing mirrors the Right Wing on the left flank
Central Midfielder wins the ball back when the CF loses it and links the defensive and attacking lines
Center Back stays near your own goal and focuses on defending rather than pushing forward
Goalkeeper stops the ball entering the penalty box; a bot fills this slot if no player chooses it
03

Shooting, dribbling, and key mechanics

Step
In short Chaining basic mechanics together — aim, dribble, volley — is what separates early goals from consistent scoring.

The ball travels in whichever direction you are looking, so aim before every shot. Holding the shoot button sends a power kick; looking upward while holding it makes the ball fly higher. Pressing dribble with the ball gives you invincibility frames, so an opponent who tries to tackle you during a dribble gets ragdolled and you get a small speed boost. Jumping while you have the ball performs a Heel Flick, which helps you avoid tackles when your dribble is on cooldown.

  1. Power Kick hold the shoot button instead of tapping it to add pace; look upward to send it higher
  2. Dribble to evade activate dribble (Q / X) when a defender closes in; their tackle will miss and you get a speed boost
  3. Heel Flick jump while holding the ball to flick it up and avoid a tackle when dribble is on cooldown
  4. Volley when a pass or throw is coming toward you, run at the ball and hold shoot to redirect it without trapping first
  5. Header jump beneath a ball in the air to head it
04

Flow State and style skills

Tips
In short Flow State unlocks stronger move variants; each style has three base skills and one Flow skill.

Each style you own comes with three base skills and one Flow skill. Pressing F on PC or holding D-Pad Down on console activates Flow State Awaken, which unlocks stronger variants of your moves. The four skill slots (Z, X, C, V on PC; LB, RB, D-Pad Left, D-Pad Right on console) hold your active abilities.

Tips worth knowing
  • Flow State Awaken is style-specific — what it does depends entirely on which style you have equipped
  • Egoist's Flow can be activated even when you do not have the ball, making it useful for off-ball plays
  • Dribble has a 2.5-second cooldown, so do not waste it on routine movement; hold it for when a tackle is actually coming
  • Request Ball (T on PC) whistles to teammates and highlights you on the pitch
05

Earning Yen and spending it

Step
In short Daily quests are a reliable source of Yen; styles cost 500 Yen each and goal effects cost 3,000 Yen each.

Yen is the main currency and comes from several sources. Spending it in the Cash Gacha is how you unlock styles, titles, goal effects, emotes, and MVP animations. One style costs 500 Yen; a single goal effect costs 3,000 Yen.

  1. Play public matches every completed game earns Yen from the standard gameplay loop
  2. Use Pro Servers they grant a 15% Yen bonus on top of normal match earnings
  3. Complete daily quests each quest from the Jinpachi Ego NPC pays between 1,000 and 2,000 Yen
  4. Redeem codes the site tracks eleven working codes; enter them for free Yen without spending Robux

Achievements worth tracking

Tips
In short No achievement can be earned on a private server; several Legendary titles are locked behind specific milestone achievements.

The game's 24 achievements are visible through the Quest Menu or by talking to the Jinpachi Ego NPC in the Quest Zone. None of them can be earned on a private server, so you must play public matches.

Tips worth knowing
  • Achievements cannot be completed on private servers — public matches only
  • Reaching 10,000 total goals unlocks the Absolute Striker title
  • Reaching 10,000 total saves unlocks the God Hand title
  • Earning MVP 100 times unlocks The Living Legend title
  • Reaching 10,000 total assists unlocks the Assist God title
  • Card merging has its own milestone track — Merger, Epic Merger, Legendary Merger, and Mythic Merger

Common questions

FAQ

Can I play on mobile?

Yes. The settings menu lets you remap mobile on-screen buttons just like keyboard or controller binds.

Why can I not earn achievements on a private server?

All 24 achievements, including the milestone badges for goals, saves, assists, and merges, require a public match. Private servers do not count toward any of them.

What is the fastest way to build up Yen without spending Robux?

Play on Pro Servers when you can, since they add a 15% Yen bonus over normal matches. Finishing daily quests each day adds between 1,000 and 2,000 Yen per quest, and redeeming active codes gives free Yen on top of that.

Does the Awakening Outfit gamepass make my character stronger?

No. It is purely cosmetic — it lets you choose which outfit appears on your character when you activate Flow State, but it gives no gameplay advantage.

What happens if nobody picks goalkeeper?

The game automatically fills the goalkeeper slot with a bot. The goalkeeper is the only role that does this.
