Choosing your role at the start
TableWhen you first load in, you choose between prisoner and police officer. That single choice shapes every goal you will have for the rest of the session. Prisoners work toward getting out; officers work toward making sure nobody does.
| Prisoner | your goal is to find a way out of the prison and reach the outside |
| Police officer | your goal is to watch the prison, spot escape attempts, and stop them |
How to escape as a prisoner
StepThe prison has several escape routes available, including breakable walls and hidden passages. You won't find them by standing still, so spend your early time exploring every corner. Moving with other prisoners makes it easier to slip past officers, since you can draw their attention in different directions.
- Watch the officers learn where they patrol and wait for a gap before you move
- Team up coordinate with other prisoners to split officer attention
- Go for the exit reaching outside the prison counts as a successful escape
Patrolling as a police officer
CheckOfficers are armed and can handle multiple prisoners, but only if you are in the right place at the right time. Keep moving, pay extra attention to walls and exits, and act the moment something looks off.
- Cover every area of the prison on a regular loop
- Pick up your weapons from the armory before you head out
- Chase and intercept any prisoner who makes a move
Basic controls to know before you start
TipsControls follow the standard Roblox layout. The one thing worth knowing upfront is that officers have an extra step before they are ready to play.

- Click on doors and objects to interact with them
- If you are playing as an officer, visit the armory to pick up your weapon

Common questions
FAQCan prisoners work together?
Yes. Moving as a group lets prisoners pull officers in different directions and create openings that a solo player would struggle to make.
Do I need to spend Robux to get the most out of the game?
Both roles are fully playable without spending anything. Prisoners can attempt every escape route, and officers can pick up weapons from the armory for free, with Everglades Prison group members getting an additional free gun on top of that.
