How the worlds are structured
TableThere are eleven numbered worlds plus a Summer World, and completing each one unlocks the next. The early worlds are rated Easy, the middle ones Mid, and World 5 through World 7 are all rated Hard. Stage counts drop as difficulty climbs — later worlds have far fewer stages, but each one takes longer to clear. Endless Mode sits outside the world chain and is open from the start.
| World 1 | 35 stages, Easy, unlocked from the start |
| World 2 | 43 stages, Easy, requires World 1 clear |
| World 3 | 35 stages, Mid, requires World 2 clear |
| World 4 | 31 stages, Mid, requires World 3 clear |
| World 5 | 31 stages, Hard, requires World 4 clear |
| World 6 | 16 stages, Hard, requires World 5 clear |
| World 7 | 19 stages, Hard, requires World 6 clear |
Endless Mode milestones
CheckEndless Mode does not require any world completion to enter — the teleport is available immediately. It tracks your stage count continuously, and the game awards badges at specific thresholds. Reaching Stage 10,000 is the deepest challenge the mode offers.
- Stage 25 reached first Endless badge unlocked.
- Stage 100 reached second Endless badge unlocked.
- Stage 500 reached third Endless badge unlocked.
- Stage 2,000 reached fourth Endless badge unlocked.
- Stage 10,000 reached fifth and final Endless badge unlocked.
Collecting and trading characters
TipsFinishing a world can reward you with free items — World 1 alone hands out four. Once you have characters in your inventory, the trade system lets you swap them with other players.
- Pick up every free item a world offers before you leave — they cost nothing and add to your trade stock.
- World 1 gives four free items: Squishy, Butter, Dumpling, and Sphere. World 2 gives one free item: Waxed Butter.
Glossary
Glossary- Obby
- Short for obstacle course — the main format of Needoh Tower, where you jump and move through platforming challenges to reach a goal.
- Checkpoint
- A spot inside a world that saves your progress, so a fall sends you back only to the checkpoint rather than the start of the world.
- Endless Mode
- A mode separate from the numbered worlds that runs indefinitely and tracks how many stages you reach.
- Needoh
- The squishy, squeeze-toy style characters that are the theme of the game and the main things you collect and trade.
- Teleport
- The in-game menu that sends you directly to a world or special area without walking there; some destinations require a previous world clear to unlock.
- Free item
- A character or item awarded just by playing through a world, with no extra cost or requirement beyond reaching it.
Common questions
FAQDo I have to clear worlds in order?
Yes. Each world's teleport only unlocks after you finish the one before it, so you move through them in sequence. Endless Mode and the Leaderboards teleport are the only destinations open without any prior clear.
What is The Trenches, and how hard is it?
The Trenches is a special challenge in the game with its own completion badge. The badge description calls finishing it absolutely insane.
When does the game add new content?
New towers are added every week, so there is always a fresh course to attempt.
