When you load in, the first thing you see is a team selection screen. Choose a side and you drop into the field against the opposing team. Your starting character costs zero credits, so you can jump into battle right away without earning anything first.

Badges worth knowing about
CheckThe game has seven badges in total. Some are straightforward — you get the Welcome badge just by joining. A handful are tied to past events or testing phases and cannot be earned anymore.
- Welcome is awarded simply for joining the game you get this automatically.
- Infected requires you to get infected by a parasite during a match.
- Alpha Tester, Defeat Jack o' Toilet, and 10 Million Visits are all unobtainable now.
- Titan Tester Camera is temporarily unobtainable.
