About

Overview

Creature CHAOS is a survival battle game where three players are chosen as creatures each round and try to blow up and infect every human, while the rest of the lobby builds, hides, or fights back to survive until time runs out. This guide covers how rounds work, how to earn and spend Points, building strategies for humans, and how to pressure humans when you are a creature.

How a round works

Step
In short Knowing the round structure helps you plan from the first second, not the last.

At the start of each round, three players are picked as Original Creatures. Every human they kill joins the creature side, so the creature team grows as the round goes on. The final minute is the most dangerous moment for humans: all remaining human positions are revealed to every creature on the map.

  1. Round starts three Original Creatures are chosen at random; everyone else is a human.
  2. Infection spreads any human killed by a creature becomes a creature themselves.
  3. Creature explosion creatures press Q or a button to explode, destroying nearby blocks and instantly killing any unarmored human caught in the blast.
  4. Final minute creature players can see exactly where every surviving human is hiding.
  5. Human win survive until the round ends without being killed.
  6. Creature win every human in the lobby must be eliminated.

Building a base that holds up

Tips
In short Strong block choices and smart spacing are what separate a base that survives from one that collapses in seconds.

The shop sells thirteen different block types. What matters most is HP — higher HP blocks survive more creature explosions before breaking. Cobblestone is the block every player starts with and is a reliable all-rounder. Obsidian has the highest HP in the game at 200, while Glass, Glowstone, and Ice sit at 5 HP and should not be used as structural blocks.

Tips worth knowing
  • Use Obsidian (200 HP), Iron Blocks (145 HP), or Cobblestone (85 HP) for pillars and support — they absorb the most explosions.
  • Avoid Wooden Planks (40 HP) and Oak Logs (50 HP) as supports; they are too weak to survive direct hits, though wood can be used to slow creatures down by forcing extra explosions.
  • Space pillars at least 4 blocks apart so one creature explosion cannot destroy two pillars at the same time.
  • Place Cobwebs at entrances and on bridges to slow creatures as they approach — they have low HP but do the job of buying you time.
  • Scaffold (45 HP) doubles as a climbable ladder, which is useful for getting up to your tower quickly.
  • Slime Blocks (40 HP) give humans a jump boost, handy for reaching height fast.
  • Doors (100 HP) and Trapdoors (100 HP) can be opened by humans but still block creature pathing.
06

Human strategies — from hiding to all-out attack

Table
In short Every approach has a trade-off, so pick the one that fits the Points you have and the map you are on.

Humans can survive through defense, stealth, or direct combat — or combine them. Each style demands different resources and carries different risks.

Toweringbuild a tall column structure with strong supports to reach height creatures cannot easily reach; most commonly used strategy in the game, but requires the most blocks.
Hidinguse far fewer blocks by sealing yourself inside a disguised structure; ineffective in the final minute when your position is revealed to all creatures.
Wall buildingeffective on maps like Rush where creatures spawn in a fixed area, letting you concentrate blocks into one solid line.
Grouping upcoordinate with other humans for any of the above strategies; requires the least resources but the most communication.
Ground offensefight creatures directly at ground level with Diamond Armor, Emerald Axe or WARHAMMAR, and a Shield for emergencies.
Height offenseattack from a tower using a Bow or Trident; requires good aim and low ping, and you should carry Angel Wings in case you fall.
08

Creature strategies

Tips
In short Targeting supports and working together as creatures is far more efficient than trying to blow through a full wall.

Creatures win by killing every human. The most reliable path is collapsing human towers, then cleaning up survivors on the ground.

Tips worth knowing
  • Attack tower supports at ground level rather than the top of the tower — destroying the support brings the whole structure down at once.
  • Coordinate explosions with other creatures to collapse supports that would take multiple individual blasts.
  • When a human is actively fighting you, wait until they are distracted by another creature, then hit them from behind.
  • Avoid Cobwebs whenever you can; if they block your path, blow them up first so other creatures can pass through freely.
09

The Cave map

Summary
In short Cave rewards humans who build at the center and punishes anyone who wanders near the lava edges.

Cave is one of three maps and the most distinctive of them. Its rocky terrain rises toward the center, which is the highest and safest ground on the map. Creatures spawn at the edges.

  • Center highest ground, safest place to build a base as a human.
  • Edges creature spawn points, dangerous for humans to be near.
  • Lava pits instant death for anyone who falls in, regardless of team.
  • Lava as a barrier humans can build to use lava pits as a natural obstacle that blocks creature movement.
10

Badges and free Point boosts

Check
In short The boosts are quick to grab and the badges give you clear goals to work toward.

Badges carry no in-game reward at this time, but they track meaningful milestones. The two Point boosts below are free and permanent once activated.

  • Join the Detonate Games group on Roblox to permanently add 50 Points to your starting total each round.
  • Roblox Premium members also get 50 extra starting Points plus token rewards every ten minutes.
  • Welcome awarded just for joining the game.
  • You Died earned the first time you die as a human.
  • First Win earned the first time you survive a full round as a human.
  • Luck the rarest badge: survive a heavy hit as a human when you are at 1 HP or lower.

Common questions

FAQ

Does armor protect you from a creature explosion?

A creature explosion instantly kills a human who is wearing no armor. Armor adds extra HP, which can absorb some blast damage. The Shield item specifically blocks creature explosion damage.

What happens in the last minute of a round?

All surviving human positions are shown to every creature on the map, so hiding spots stop being effective. If you are using a stealth strategy, plan a backup before that minute arrives.

Can I earn strong blocks without spending Robux?

Yes. Cobblestone, Iron Blocks, and Obsidian are all purchasable with Points earned in-game.

Is it worth teaming up with strangers?

Grouping up works with any strategy and needs fewer blocks than solo building. On maps like Rush where creatures spawn in a fixed area, a shared wall built by a group is one of the strategies described in the game.
