First things to do when you start
StepWhen you first load in, a tutorial walks you through the basics — finish it before you do anything else, because some features like the shop are locked until it is complete. Once you are through it, open the hero screen and equip your strongest heroes by power and damage per second. Owning a hero does nothing on its own; it only fights if you have it equipped in a slot. Joining the official group early is worth doing too, since it gives you a permanent ten percent gold bonus and one extra luck.
- Finish the tutorial some features stay locked until it is done.
- Open the hero screen equip heroes sorted by power and damage per second.
- Fill every open slot empty slots mean lost damage for no reason.
- Join the official group locks in the permanent gold and luck bonus immediately.
- Split your gold keep some back for upgrades rather than rolling with everything you have.

The core gameplay loop
SummaryThe goal in the early game is not to chase one rare hero but to keep all your slots filled so your team kills enemies quickly and keeps gold flowing. When you get a new hero, compare its power to your weakest equipped hero and swap only that one slot. As gold builds up, split it between rolling and upgrading stats like luck, hero slots, gold gain, and offline rewards. Once you reach Dark Forest, the fusion device unlocks and you can start combining duplicate heroes to raise their star level and damage.
- Roll spend gold to get new heroes.
- Equip replace your weakest hero whenever a stronger one comes in.
- Upgrade put gold into luck, hero slots, gold gain, and offline rewards.
- Fuse stack ten copies of the same hero to raise its star level.
- Boss hunt defeating bosses rewards artifacts that add lasting power.
Choosing the right upgrades
TipsThe upgrade screen offers many options: luck, hero slots, hero damage, gold gain, loot collection, move speed, offline rewards, and more.
- If enemies are taking too long to die, put gold into hero damage and more hero slots.
- If gold feels slow, look at gold gain, loot collection, and offline rewards.
- If good heroes are not showing up, invest in luck and roll speed.
- If you play in short bursts, unlock offline rewards and gold upgrades before anything else.
- Only increase the number of simultaneous enemies once your team can already kill them fast.
- Enchant only heroes you plan to keep for a while, since the materials are wasted on heroes you will swap out soon.
Prestige and the Index
CheckPrestige unlocks at player level ten. Activating it resets your gold and level, but your heroes and purchased upgrades carry over, and you receive permanent upgrade points you keep forever. Your second run moves faster because your heroes are already there. The Index records every hero and enemy you discover and pays out gems each time, which you can spend on permanent boosts to gold, damage, and luck. Check it after entering a new zone or pulling an unusually large hero variant.
- Reach player level ten before opening the prestige screen.
- Read exactly what resets and what stays before you confirm.
- Spend your first permanent prestige points on gold-related bonuses.
- Open the Index after every new zone you enter.
- Spend Index gems immediately rather than letting them sit unused.
- Note that Huge, Giant, and Colossal variants of a hero each count as separate Index discoveries.
What to check when you are stuck
WarnIf your kill speed suddenly drops or gold stops growing, a few quick checks usually find the cause. Heroes sitting in your inventory do not fight — only slotted ones do. If a new zone feels impossible, going back to the previous one to build power is faster than grinding against enemies you cannot kill. Duplicate heroes you delete are gone for good, so be careful before clearing inventory.
Redeem codes and idle rewards
StepCodes are released periodically and reward gold or other items at no cost. Each code works once per account, and many have expiry dates, so entering them quickly matters. When you leave the game running or log off, the offline rewards upgrade keeps gold accumulating — but only if you have already unlocked that upgrade. When leaving the game idle, park your heroes in a zone where they can clear enemies and collect loot without getting stuck.
- Open the code entry field find it in the in-game menu.
- Type the code exactly a difference in one letter or case will cause an error.
- Confirm the entry check for a success message before closing the box.
- Use idle time wisely choose a zone where your team kills quickly and loot gets picked up.

Common questions
FAQI pulled a strong hero but my kill speed did not change — why?
A hero you own but have not placed in a slot does not participate in combat at all. Open the hero screen and confirm the new hero is actually equipped. Also check that every available slot is filled.
I cannot get fusion to work even though I have duplicate heroes — what is wrong?
Fusion requires duplicates that share the same mutation and star level, not just the same hero name. Also, the fusion device only becomes available after you reach Dark Forest, so check that you have progressed that far.
A boss is completely destroying my team — what should I do?
Go back to regular enemies, build up your gold, and invest in hero damage and more hero slots before trying again.
What does joining the official group actually give me?
It permanently adds ten percent to your gold gain and raises your luck by one.
Can I play through the whole game without spending Robux?
The core loop — rolling, equipping, upgrading, fusing, and prestiging — is fully playable without spending anything. Paid options speed things up but are not required to reach late-game content.
