Each character's design is so detailed, and it's the kind of game that randomly makes you want to jump back in. You can still customize colors and have fun without spending money, but you definitely start wanting neon and unlimited colors.
They're super nice and pretty, so I really recommend buying them. That said, Betelgeuse felt a bit too expensive. For a paid character, it can't fly and doesn't seem to have many customizable color areas.
Still, it's a great game.
I'm going to keep playing it, so keep up the great work!

Guide

01 Getting started — your first creature Picking and customizing your starter creature is the first thing you do, and setting up your name and bio early makes roleplaying with friends much smoother.
02 Creature roster and flying abilities Each creature in the game has its own feel, and unlocking flying abilities is one of the main things to work toward as you play.
03 Customizing your creature The combination of color, eyes, accessories, and size means two players with the same creature type can end up looking completely different.
