In +1 Speed Moonwalk Escape, a Dancer chases you through an obstacle course and your only defense is movement — moonwalking builds speed, and the faster you go the harder it is to catch you. This guide covers how speed works, how to get through the course, and how to keep growing even if you never spend Robux.
In shortEvery run follows the same four-step pattern, so knowing it from the start saves a lot of early frustration.
When a round begins, the Dancer starts moving toward you immediately. Your job is to moonwalk, clear every obstacle, and reach the end of the stage before the Dancer catches you. Each run also sets you up better for the next one.
Start moonwalkingmove your character as soon as the round begins to start stacking speed.
Stack your Stepsthe more steps you accumulate, the faster your speed climbs each run.
Clear the obstaclesjump over anything in your path rather than running into it.
Reach the endgetting to the finish counts as a Win and ends the round successfully.
In shortObstacle placement stays the same each run, so repeated attempts teach you exactly when to jump.
The stage has obstacles scattered across it, and your growing speed makes split-second decisions harder as you improve. The good news is that the layout does not change between runs, so every attempt is also practice for the next.
Tips worth knowing
Jump early — the faster you are moving, the sooner you need to leave the ground to clear something.
Glance back occasionally — knowing how close the Dancer is tells you whether you can afford a mistimed jump.
Learn the layout over time — the positions of obstacles are consistent, so familiarity is a real advantage.

Common questions
FAQ
The game feels impossibly slow at first — is something wrong?
Nothing is wrong. Speed is genuinely low in your first few runs because your multiplier is still at its starting value. Do Rebirths and equip any Auras you have, and the difference becomes obvious quickly.
Do I lose my progress when the Dancer catches me?
No. Your Rebirth multiplier survives a caught round completely intact and carries straight into your next attempt. The only thing you miss out on is the Win for that particular round.
Does obstacle placement change between runs?
No, the layout stays the same. That means every run is also a chance to memorize where each obstacle sits, which pays off significantly once your speed gets high and reaction time gets tight.
