01

First things to do when you join

Step
In short Start by exploring the map freely — your first badge arrives the moment you join.

The game drops you into a snowy Russian district with no set objectives, so your first job is simply to look around. One badge is handed to you automatically, and the rest come from exploring, staying, or being in the right place at the right time.

  1. Join any public server the Welcome badge arrives automatically as soon as you load in.
  2. Explore the map look for the five-story building, since its rooftop is the main landmark with a badge attached.
  3. Stay in the same server two badges are within reach after 30 minutes and one hour of continuous play.
  4. Bring a friend up to 25 players can share one server, so grabbing a friend makes the long-stay badges easier to sit through.

Reaching the rooftop

Warn
In short You must be on a public server when you reach the rooftop, or the badge will not register.

The On the Roof badge is earned by climbing to the top of the five-story building. It sounds simple, but there is one hard rule: private servers block the badge entirely, even if you make it all the way up.

Worth watching out for
Private servers will not award the On the Roof badge, no matter what.
Join a normal public server before you attempt the climb.
03

Time-based badges

Check
In short Leaving your server resets the clock, so stay connected until you hit each milestone.

Three badges are tied purely to how long you stay in one server without leaving. They stack — earn 30 minutes first, then one hour, and finally the six-hour badge that even the developers seem amazed anyone would go for.

  • Confirm you are staying in a single server session switching servers resets your time.
  • Watch for the 30-minute badge as your first check-in.
  • Keep going to earn the one-hour badge in the same session.
  • Invite friends to the same server so you have company during a long session.

Common questions

FAQ

Why didn't I get the On the Roof badge after climbing the building?

The most common reason is being on a private server — the badge is blocked there regardless of what you do. Switch to a public server and climb again.
