Because the mechanics are simple, the gap between players comes down to reads and decisions rather than complex inputs. On attack you want a clear plan before you move; on defense you want to cut off where the opponent is going, not chase where they already are.

- When defending, read the attacker's path and get ahead of them rather than chasing from behind
