Teamwork and the Flawless badge

Tips
In short Coordinating with your teammates is the clearest path to success.

A single room can hold up to 50 players, and coordinating with that group is the clearest path to success. The highest achievement in the game — Flawless Success — requires every single teammate to make it out alive, so no one can be left behind.

Tips worth knowing
  • Before heading to extraction, confirm that everyone on the team is accounted for.
  • Dying earns the Memento Mori badge; failing to extract counts as a mission failure.
03

Mission outcomes and badges

Table
In short There are four distinct outcomes the game tracks, and knowing them helps you aim for the best one.

The game draws a clear line between each possible result of a mission. The real goal to chase is Flawless Success, which demands flawless teamwork.

Memento Moriunlocked the very first time you die.
Mission Failed!unlocked the first time your team fails to complete a mission.
Mission Success!unlocked when your team successfully extracts.
Flawless Successunlocked only when the whole team extracts without anyone dying.
04

Early alpha and what to expect

Check
In short The game is unfinished by design, so bugs are normal and your feedback directly shapes its development.

Backrooms Company is in early alpha, which means rough edges, missing features, and bugs are all part of the current experience. The developers have flagged that new entities, levels, items, and system improvements are coming. If something feels broken, reporting it is genuinely useful.

  • Expect bugs they are normal at this stage and not a sign something is permanently wrong.
  • New content is planned, including new entities, new levels, and more items.
  • Report bugs through the game page so the developers can act on them.
