Controls to learn on stage one

Step

In short Stage one is the place to get comfortable with every basic move.

You start on stage one the moment you join the game. Once you clear a stage, the next one unlocks.

Feel out the steering drive around and notice how the kart handles.
Try a jump find an obstacle and clear it so you know how the kart leaves the ground.
Practice a turn see how the kart responds to corners.

Tips

In short Drifting through corners and using boosts on straight sections are key habits for the harder stages.

Every stage has spots where players repeatedly fall or spin out. The course layout does not change between attempts, so each failed run teaches you something useful. Memorising where the dangerous sections are is just as important as raw kart skill.

Tips worth knowing

Use drift on corners to carry more speed through the turn without losing control.
Use boost on straight sections where extra speed does not send you off the edge.
Repeat a difficult stage several times; adjust your speed so you are not too fast to corner or too slow to progress.

In short Almost every block comes down to either a timing problem or an unfamiliar part of the course.

Feeling stuck on a stage does not always mean that stage is the problem. Going back one stage to drill a habit is an option when you are struggling.

Have you fallen in exactly the same spot several times if so, approach that section differently.
Can you clear the stages just before this one if not, a core skill still needs work.
