About

Overview

Kyoeki: The Madness Plague drops you into Japan in 1570, where a virus has turned the infected — called Jatsuki — into violent killers. Each map gives you a different mission, from protecting allies to building structures under pressure, and this guide walks you through what each one demands so you can survive and earn every badge.

What you are up against

Summary
In short Every map has its own win condition, and ignoring it is the most common reason players fail.

The Jatsuki are the virus-maddened people who will hunt you throughout every map. Beating a map is not just about staying alive — each one sets a specific goal, and failing that goal ends your run even if you are still standing. Read the objective before you move.

  • Jatsuki the infected enemy you face on every map
  • Ryo the in-game currency, doubled on weekends
  • Wave a round of enemies on the Natsukodachi map; surviving wave 25 or higher earns a badge
  • Mission the specific win condition that changes from map to map

Map-by-map mission breakdown

Step
In short Each map rewards a badge only when you meet its exact condition, so knowing the goal before you start matters.

Seven named locations each have a unique requirement. Some ask you to protect someone, some ask you to build something, and one pushes you to survive as long as possible.

  1. Kagoshima help the Student escape the map alive.
  2. Enryakuji find and kill the Monk Gunner.
  3. Hakata keep the Messenger with you the whole time and do not leave without them.
  4. Yamazaki protect every single Ashikaga soldier; even one death costs you the badge.
  5. Anegawa build at least six pieces of the boardwalk and then escape alive.
  6. Sakasai Castle stop every Jatsuki from crossing into the inner courtyard while keeping yourself alive.
  7. Natsukodachi survive to wave 25 or beyond.

Playing with a full room

Tips
In short Up to twenty players can join one session.

Rooms hold up to twenty players.

Tips worth knowing
  • On Anegawa, agree before the round who builds and who holds off the Jatsuki.
  • The weekend double-Ryo bonus applies to everyone in the room.

Rules and warnings

Warn
In short Breaking the rules risks a permanent ban, and the game also carries a flashing-lights warning worth knowing before you start.

The game has a small but firm ruleset enforced by the developers. Separately, the game uses flashing light effects, which the developers flag as a caution for anyone sensitive to them.

Worth watching out for
Exploiting, ban evading, and voteban abuse all lead to a permanent ban.
Deliberately abusing glitches is also punishable.
Toxic behavior toward other players is not allowed.
The game contains flashing lights if you are sensitive to that, be aware before you load in.
Cheat use in a private server prevents your data from being saved for that session.
