Worm cave drops up to 20 players into a cave and gives them three minutes to stay alive while hungry worms hunt them down. Earn cash during each round, spend it on tools, and escape before time runs out. This guide covers how each round works, what the badges ask of you, and how to keep surviving when things go wrong.

How a round works

Step

In short Every round is a three-minute sprint: dodge worms, collect cash, buy tools, and get out alive.

Each round lasts exactly three minutes. Your only goal is to reach the end of those three minutes without being caught. Along the way you earn cash, which you can spend in the shop on tools that help you deal with the worms.

Collect cash pick up cash as you move through the cave; you will need it for the shop.
Use the shop spend your cash on tools.
Escape survive the full three minutes to count the round as a successful survival.

In short Survival badges stack up from your very first escape all the way to one hundred rounds survived.

Each badge below unlocks automatically once you hit the survival count listed. There is no separate action required — just keep escaping.

Special badges worth knowing

Tips

In short Two badges fall completely outside the normal survival grind and need their own approach.

These badges cannot be earned by simply surviving rounds. Both depend on rare conditions that you cannot force.

Tips worth knowing

First death unlocks automatically the first time you die.
LORD GIGGLIUS is a special event where a powerful entity appears and destroys the entire server — stay alive until that destruction happens and the badge is yours.
The Moddev badge requires being on the same server as the developer Moddev at the same time.

Glossary

Cash: The in-game currency you earn during a round and spend in the shop on tools.
Survival: A round you finish alive; your total survival count is what unlocks the progression badges.
LORD GIGGLIUS: A rare server event where a powerful entity destroys the server; staying alive until that moment earns you a special badge.
Tools: Items bought from the shop with cash that give you ways to fight back against the worms.

FAQ

How long does one round last?

Every round runs for exactly three minutes. Make it through those three minutes without dying and the game counts it as a successful survival.

How do I get the LORD GIGGLIUS badge?

LORD GIGGLIUS is a server event. When it happens, a force appears and destroys the server, and you need to be alive at that moment to earn the badge.

Can I earn the Moddev badge on purpose?

No. The badge unlocks when you happen to be on the same server as the developer Moddev at the same time.

Do I need to do anything special to unlock the survival badges?

No extra steps required. Each badge unlocks automatically once your total survival count hits the milestone — one, ten, thirty, fifty, or one hundred.
