About

Overview

Sword Fighters Simulator is a Roblox game where you swing your sword to build power, defeat enemies to collect better swords, hatch eggs to get pets, and ascend to multiply your strength all over again. This guide walks you through the core loop, how to handle pets and ascension, what events to watch for, and how to spend your time efficiently whether you pay or not.

01

The core loop every player needs to know

Step
In short Everything in the game flows from this four-step cycle, so understanding it early saves a lot of confusion later.

The game is built around a repeating cycle.

  1. Swing your sword swinging builds power, which is your main stat for progressing through the game and eventually ascending.
  2. Defeat enemies enemies drop coins and better swords; always equip the strongest sword you have picked up so far.
  3. Spend coins on eggs each world has coin-based eggs you can open to hatch pets, which provide power multipliers that make every future step faster.
  4. Ascend when ready once your power hits the required milestone, ascending resets coins and power but applies a permanent multiplier so you come back much stronger.
  5. Move to the next world each new world has stronger enemies, new eggs, and new quest NPCs, so push forward once the current world's enemies feel easy.

Quests in each world and why they matter

Tips
In short Finishing every quest chain in a world before moving on gives you permanent power boosts and extra pet slots that carry forward.

Each world has at least one NPC near the spawn who hands out a quest chain. Completing the final quest in most chains grants a 10% power bonus. Several worlds also have secondary NPCs with separate quest lines that reward swing speed, pet luck, or damage bonuses, so it is worth talking to every NPC you find.

Tips worth knowing
  • Dark Forest — Farmer Steve's chain ends with defeating Dark Commanders for a 10% power boost.
  • Skull Cove — Sailor Lily's chain ends at Pirate Admirals for 10% power; the Sword Master NPC there rewards permanent swing speed for every swing milestone you hit.
  • Demon Hills — Master Reshi ends at defeating Oni for 10% power; the Teacher NPC gives Slow Autoswing for exchanging 25T power.
  • Polar Tundra — Ice Dweller ends at defeating the Ice King for 10% power; the Egg Master NPC rewards 5% pet luck for every egg-opening milestone up to 25 million eggs.
  • Aether City — The Elder ends at exchanging Voodoo Blades for 10% power.
  • Underworld — the Executioner NPC gives escalating damage bonuses for kill count milestones, reaching 175% extra damage at one million kills.
03

Pets — hatching, evolving, and equipping

Check
In short Pets are your biggest passive power source, so investing in them consistently matters more than chasing rare swords.

Pets attach a power multiplier to everything you do. You can equip up to three at once as a free player, rising to six by completing index quests and the final Easy and Hard Dungeon quests. The Extra Pet Equip gamepass adds three more slots on top of that.

  • Completing the Easy Dungeon quest doubles the number of eggs you hatch at once, from one to two.
  • Higher luck stats push rarer pets up and common ones down when hatching.
  • Level pets with Star Dust up to 100 at max level a pet reaches 1.99x its base multiplier; Star Dust comes from Raids, Dungeons, or dismantling pets at the Enchanted Forest's Dismantle Machine.
  • Evolve duplicates into Shiny pets at Skull Cove combining copies gives 10% success chance each, up to 100%; Shiny pets have 2x the base multiplier but reset to level 1.
  • Evolve Shiny pets into Celestial at Aether City each Shiny copy added gives 20% chance; Celestial pets reach 3x the base multiplier.
  • Roll pet traits at the High Havens machine Leader and Genius are the rarest traits; Tactical gives damage bonuses to bosses.
04

Special events — Darkness, Blood Moon, and Corruption

Table
In short Each event changes what spawns rather than improving normal drop rates, so knowing what each one does helps you decide whether to stay or move on.

Three events cycle through the game's servers on set schedules. They do not boost sword or pet drop rates for regular enemies, but they do spawn new enemies with better loot tables.

Darknesslasts 20 minutes; adds a secret pet to some coin eggs and spawns special enemies including Lost Souls in Enchanted Woods.
Blood Moon50% chance every two hours on odd GMT hours; lasts 20 minutes; spawns Blood Moon enemies from Mystic Mines onward with a chance to drop the most powerful secret sword in each world; 3–4% of swords dropped are enchanted.
Corruptionspawns after a Blood Moon with 33% chance, or after a Solar Eclipse with 50% chance; lasts 10 minutes; only the first player to kill each enemy gets Corrupt Shards.
Dungeonopens every 15 minutes, alternating Easy/Insane on the hour and half-hour, Hard on the quarter and three-quarter hours; luck affects drops.
05

Ascension — when and how to do it

Warn
In short Ascending too early wastes progress, but waiting too long stalls your growth, so use the power threshold as your guide.

Ascending resets your power and coins to zero in exchange for a permanent multiplier that grows exponentially with each rank. The first ascension from Noob to Beginner requires 75,000 power and gives a 3x multiplier. Later ranks demand astronomical numbers but keep compounding. Starting from The Warrior rank onward, each ascension also grants a stacking bonus — swing speed, power, coins, luck, and eventually double Relic EXP.

Worth watching out for
Reaching the Tertiary rank unlocks a 25% discount on all future ascension costs.
Ascending removes your coins, so spend them on eggs or upgrades first.
You can pay Robux to skip an ascension rank outright.
06

Boosts and codes — short-term power spikes

Tips
In short Boosts stack and pause offline, so save them for active play sessions where you will actually use the full duration.

Boosts are temporary multipliers to coins, power, damage, luck, or secret luck. They come from Dungeon chests, Daily and VIP chests, Raid tickets, the Lurking Shadow shop, the Time Trial NPC shop, and Robux purchases. Duration ranges from five minutes for shorter ones up to 20 hours for Robux-bought versions.

Tips worth knowing
  • Boost timers pause when you go offline.
  • The four-hour boost from defeating a Global Boss does not pause offline.
  • Secret Luck boosts only come from the Time Trial NPC shop and Valentines Event rewards — they are not in the normal chest pool.
  • Codes give 2x Coin, 2x Luck, 2x Power, or 2x Damage boosts for five to thirty minutes each; they are one-use per player.

Tips
In short Free players cap out at six equipped pets by completing index quests and the final Easy and Hard Dungeon quests.

Free players cap out at six equipped pets by completing index quests and the final Easy and Hard Dungeon quests. Patient grinding through quest chains, dungeon runs, and daily chests closes most of the gap.

  • Open the Daily and Group chests every session.

Common questions

FAQ

When should I ascend?

Ascend when you can reach the power threshold in a reasonable amount of time. Always spend your coins on eggs or upgrades before you ascend, since the reset takes them away.

What is the best pet trait?

For pure damage output, Genius is the top choice. For boss fights specifically, Tactical is strongest. Leader boosts power for all equipped pets and is the rarest trait.

Do I lose my pets when I make them Shiny or Celestial?

Your pet's levels and enchants are reset to level 1 when you evolve it to Shiny or Celestial, and Star Dust is not refunded. The pets you combine into the machine are consumed whether the evolution succeeds or fails.

How do I get more pet slots as a free player?

You start with three slots. Completing index quests and the final Easy and Hard Dungeon quests each add one slot, up to a maximum of six for free players. The Extra Pet Equip gamepass stacks on top of that if you want more.

Does luck improve my sword drops during Blood Moon or Darkness?

No. Blood Moon and Darkness do not improve drop rates for regular enemies or regular sword drops. Those events spawn new enemy types that have better loot tables on their own.

What is the fastest way to get Star Dust without paying?

Run Raids and Dungeons every time they open, and dismantle unwanted pets at the Dismantle Machine in Enchanted Forest. Dungeons open every 15 minutes.
