Your first few minutes
StepWhen you load in, hackers are right in front of you. Hit them with your bat to deal damage, and when one goes down you earn money. That money is what funds everything else in the game.
- Start swinging attack the hackers in front of you straight away to start earning cash.
- Check your money once you have enough, buy a better bat.
- Repeat the cycle keep fighting and upgrading as your money grows.
Bats and stat upgrades
TableYou have two ways to spend the money you earn. Bats raise how much damage you deal per swing. Stat upgrades improve numbers like damage and luck.
| New bat | raises your damage output directly, so each swing hits harder. |
| Damage upgrade | also increases damage. |
| Luck upgrade | raises the chance of meeting rarer hackers and increases the money you pull in per fight. |

When and why to rebirth
WarnRebirthing resets the upgrades and bats you have built up. In return you unlock a multiplier that scales up the money and progress you earn in every run that follows. Rebirthing also unlocks better bats.

Common questions
FAQMoney is building up really slowly at the start — what should I do?
Keep fighting to let cash accumulate. Putting money into the luck stat raises the amount you earn per fight.
Is it actually worth rebirthing if it resets everything I built?
Yes, because the multiplier you gain means you earn money faster in every run after the reset. Rebirthing also unlocks better bats.
I want to find a specific rare hacker but keep missing them — any tips?
Keep fighting, since every battle is a new chance for that hacker to appear. Putting money into luck upgrades raises the odds.
