About

Overview

Anime Card Clash is a Roblox strategy card game where you roll to collect anime-style character cards, build a deck, and fight bosses and other players across multiple modes including Story, Infinite Tower, Nightmare, Raid, and PvP. Combat runs automatically based on your cards' abilities and order, so winning comes down to the choices you make before the battle starts. This guide walks you through getting started, progressing through the story, strengthening your cards, and tackling the toughest content.

First steps when you load in

Step
In short Getting Auto Roll unlocked and a stable starting deck set up are the two things that matter most in your first session.

The game can look overwhelming at first, but the opening loop is straightforward once you know the order. Redeem codes right away using the Codes button on the left side of the screen — they hand out Luck potions, Boss Chance potions, and other items that speed up your early progress. Then start rolling cards until Auto Roll unlocks at 10 rolls and Quick Roll unlocks at 100 rolls, because those two features make grinding far faster. Once you have a handful of cards, put together a deck before you touch Story mode.

  1. Open Codes tap the Codes button, enter any working codes you have, and collect the free potions and resources before doing anything else.
  2. Hit the Roll button keep rolling until you have reached 10 rolls for Auto Roll, then push to 100 rolls for Quick Roll.
  3. Hit Teleport enter Story mode and start working through the first world, Ninja Village.
  4. Check Daily Quests complete them every day for EXP potions and other resources that go straight into levelling your cards.

How card rarity and merging work

Summary
In short Putting all your upgrade resources into the four cards you actually use will strengthen them faster than spreading investment across your whole collection.

Cards come in six rarity tiers, and higher rarity means lower odds of rolling one. When you collect duplicate cards, you can Merge them to raise the card's border colour — Basic borders become Gold, then Rainbow, then Secret — and each step up brings a large stat increase. Every card also has a Trait, which is an individual stat modifier you can reroll using a Trait Reroll item. Cards you will never use can be broken down into materials and EXP rather than sitting unused.

  • Basic early-game level and excellent merge fodder; feed duplicates into your core cards.
  • Rare to Epic mid-game workhorses with varied skills and good general use.
  • Legendary to Mythical high-performance cards that anchor PvP decks; many carry percentage damage, revival, or hard-disable skills.
  • Secret odds reach into the hundreds of millions to one; cannot be obtained by merging, so they come from extreme luck or events.
  • Tank Traits Fortified and Guardian-type Traits are the targets when rerolling a tank card.
  • Attacker Traits Fierce, Critical, and Overwhelm-type Traits are what you want on damage dealers.

Moon Cycles and when to roll

Tips
In short Rolling during the right Moon Cycle phase for the card you want is one of the easiest ways to improve your odds without spending anything.

The Moon Cycle shifts roughly every three minutes and changes which cards have better appearance rates during that window. There are ten different moons in total — the Full Moon is the most common and the Abyss Moon is the rarest. Certain cards, such as Cosmic Villain, can only appear during specific moon phases, so rolling outside those windows wastes your potions entirely. A Moon Cycle Reroll Potion can force a phase change if you need a particular moon right now.

Tips worth knowing
  • Snow Moon cards include Ice Dragon, Snake Empress, and White Dragon Emperor — each with abilities that freeze or debuff opponents over multiple turns.
  • The Blood Moon and Wolf Moon both carry a plus-five Luck bonus.

Raid, Infinite Tower, and PvP

Step
In short Across all three end-game modes, percentage-based damage and long-duration disables are the most reliable tools for difficult content.

Once you have made solid progress in Story mode, Raids, Infinite Tower, and PvP become the main activities. Raids are cooperative battles for up to twelve players against bosses with very high HP, which makes percentage-based damage particularly valuable there. Infinite Tower is an endless climb where area-of-effect attacks and party-wide buffs help you reach higher floors. PvP is decided largely by card order and whether you have a card that counters what your opponent is running.

  1. Enter a Raid bring percentage-damage and crowd-control cards, then hold your skills during the boss's invincibility phase and unleash them the moment that phase ends.
  2. Coordinate in Raid with twelve players available, the group should have dedicated crowd-control roles, damage-reduction roles, and damage-dealing roles covered.
  3. Farm Boss Shards Raid runs drop Boss Shards that you can exchange for a guaranteed copy of a specific boss card.

Support cards worth knowing

Table
In short Higher-rarity support cards offer effects that can shift a battle on their own.

Free-to-play vs. paid options

Common questions

FAQ

Which cards should I focus on upgrading?

Pick the four cards you actually use and put all your Merge materials, EXP, and Trait Rerolls into those four only. For tank cards, aim for Fortified or Guardian-type Traits when rerolling; for attackers, target Fierce, Critical, or Overwhelm-type Traits. Break down every card you do not plan to use and convert it into resources for your core four.

How do I enter codes and what do I do if one throws an error?

Tap or click the Codes button on the left side of the game screen, type the code into the field, and press Redeem. If you get an error, double-check that you have not confused the letter O with the number zero, since that is the most common input mistake. If the code still fails after a careful re-entry, it has likely expired.

What is the fastest way to survive Raid bosses?

Hold all your skills when the boss enters an invincibility phase and release them all at once the moment that phase ends. If you are in a group, make sure someone is covering the crowd-control role and someone else the damage-reduction role rather than everyone running pure attackers.
