Controls to learn before anything else

Check
In short Knowing all three core inputs — sprint, crouch, and flashlight — before you start means you can react without thinking when the cat appears.

The game supports keyboard, controller, and mobile on-screen buttons. Sprint and crouch are the two most important inputs because they directly affect whether the cat can hear you.

  • Sprint mapped to Shift on keyboard or L3 on controller moves you fast but makes noise the cat can hear
  • Crouch mapped to C on keyboard or B on controller lets you move in complete silence
  • Flashlight mapped to F on keyboard or Y on controller toggles on and off
  • Mouse unlock on PC mapped to G
  • Mobile players use the on-screen buttons for all of the above

How the cat tracks you

Warn
In short The cat hunts by sound, so crouch movement is your most reliable way to stay hidden.

The cat patrols the corridors and listens for the player. Running produces noise it can hear. Crouching removes that noise entirely. Your flashlight helps you see, but it also reveals your position to the cat.

Worth watching out for
Sprinting makes noise the cat can hear crouch to move in silence
You get three lives, but it only needs one
Do not leave the flashlight on near the cat it shows exactly where you are
Crouch and the cat hears nothing at all
03

Finding all three keycards

Step
In short The elevator only unlocks once you collect one keycard from each of the three areas, so you need to visit all of them.

The hotel is split into three distinct areas, and each one holds a keycard. All three are required to operate the elevator and escape.

  1. Guest rooms search the room area thoroughly until you locate the keycard
  2. Offices work through the office section and pick up the keycard
  3. Service wing explore the service area and collect the final keycard
  4. Elevator once all three keycards are in hand, head to the elevator and use them to escape
04

Solo play versus playing with friends

Table
In short Both modes use the same map and rules, so choose whichever suits you.

The game supports both solo runs and co-op sessions. The core objective does not change between them.

Soloyou search and navigate entirely on your own
Co-opup to three friends can join
05

Run grades: A and S

Summary
In short Finishing well earns you a grade, and the top two grades each come with their own badge.

When you survive and escape, the game judges how well you performed and awards a grade. Two grades have associated badges you can unlock.

  • A grade awarded for reaching A Grade in a run, recognized with a badge
  • S grade awarded for an especially strong performance, recognized with a separate badge
