The core loop

Step
In short Every throw feeds into a cycle of Skill gains, level-ups, and longer distances.

The whole game revolves around one repeating cycle. You throw a stone, it bounces across the water, and each bounce gives you one Skill point. Once you have enough Skill, you level up, and a higher level means you can throw farther. Reaching farther zones earns you Wins, which track your overall progress.

  1. Throw your stone each bounce across the water gives you +1 Skill
  2. Level up to throw farther
  3. Reach new zones farther zones reward you with more Wins
  4. Rebirth to grow stronger and beat your longest throw

Unlocking stones, donuts, and other objects

Tips
In short Rare throwable objects unlock as you progress, giving you more to aim for beyond the default stone.

As you advance through the game, the basic stone is not the only thing you can throw. Rare stones become available in stages, and unusual objects — including a donut — open up over time. Once you unlock something, you can switch to it whenever you like.

Tips worth knowing
  • Rare stones unlock gradually as your progression advances
  • Unusual throwable objects like a donut become available at later stages
  • Any unlocked object can be selected and used at any time

Getting the most from pets

Check
In short Equipping pets gives you powerful boosts, so collecting more of them directly helps your progress.

Pets are not just decoration — equipping one activates a powerful boost. Owning multiple pets stacks those benefits, so time spent collecting them pays off across every throw you make afterward.

  • Equip a pet to activate its powerful boost effect
  • Collect more than one pet to layer additional benefits on top
05

Idle progression and when to log back in

Summary
In short The game keeps moving while you are offline, so regular check-ins let you bank progress without needing long sessions.

Because +1 Stone Skipping is built as an idle-style simulator, your progress does not stop when you close the game. Coming back regularly — even for a short session — lets you collect what has built up and push further before going offline again.
