One Shot Guide: The one rule that changes everything
About
OverviewOne Shot is a fast-paced free-for-all deathmatch on Roblox where every gun holds exactly one bullet — fire, then reload, or die trying. This guide covers the core rules, how to survive the reload gap, what you can unlock without spending, and what will get you permanently banned.

The one rule that changes everything
SummaryEvery gun in the game holds a single bullet. The moment you fire, you cannot shoot again until you finish reloading — and your opponent is in exactly the same position whenever they shoot. There are no teams, so every player on the map is your enemy at all times. The whole game is a constant read of who just fired and who still has a round chambered.
- Bullets per gun one
- Teams none, FFA only
- Platform support PC, mobile, and console (Xbox and PlayStation)

Staying alive through the reload gap
TipsSliding changes your trajectory in a way that straight running never does, making you genuinely harder to lead with a shot.
- Slide instead of running in straight lines — a curved path is much harder to aim at
- Watch for the moment an enemy shoots and close the distance during their reload
Events running now or coming soon. They have fixed dates, so check them first.
[1vs1] Ranked Season 2
What you can earn without spending
CheckYou can play as many matches as you want at no cost. Playing earns you level-up rewards automatically, and daily quests hand out free loot on top of that. Paid options exist in the form of roll cases for rare weapon skins, but skins are purely cosmetic and have no effect on what your gun does or how it handles. The global leaderboard is open to everyone.
- Matches are unlimited and always free
- Level-up rewards come in automatically as you play
- Daily quests reset each day and pay out free rewards for completing them
- Roll cases contain rare and limited weapon skins paid, cosmetic only
- Leaderboard ranking depends on skill, not spending
Redeem codes
StepThe game distributes gift codes that can be redeemed for rewards. Each code works only once on a single account, and once the expiry date passes the code stops working entirely. This site currently tracks three working codes — you can find them on this page.
- Codes can only be used once per account
- Codes have an expiry date after which they stop working
Actions that result in a permanent ban
WarnCheating, exploiting, and farming rewards through alternate accounts all lead to a permanent ban with no appeals process.

Common questions
FAQCan I rank highly on the leaderboard without paying?
Yes. The paid items in One Shot are weapon skins that only change appearance and have no effect on combat. Leaderboard position comes down to skill, so free players compete on exactly the same footing as anyone who has spent money.
Does One Shot work on mobile and console?
The game officially supports PC, mobile, Xbox, and PlayStation.
What happens if I get banned for cheating?
The ban is permanent and the developer has stated there is no appeals process, meaning it cannot be lifted. The only way to avoid it is to play without cheats, exploits, or alternate farming accounts.
