OverviewBackstreet Survival drops you into the world's worst town with almost nothing and asks you to slowly claw your way out of poverty. First steps when you load in
Step
The game hands you a Welcome badge the moment you join. From there, three locations matter most in the early game: the trash piles, the BEANS SHOP, and the bank. Hit all three before you worry about anything else.
- Dig trash find a trash pile on the map and start digging to pick up items and earn money.
- Visit the BEANS SHOP check where it sits on the map, since you'll return here for both legal purchases and riskier moves later.
- Try the bank using the bank service for the first time earns you the Financial Illusion badge.
- Clock in at BeanCo Factory showing up for your first shift earns the Bean Industrialist badge and starts your factory career.
- Check daily quests completing fifteen of them in total unlocks a badge, so look at them every time you log in.
Three ways to earn money

Digging is available from the very start; the factory builds over many sessions; robbing the bean shop earns the Bean Bandit badge after ten successful robberies.

Unlocking the beach
Warn
The beach is not available when you first start. You have to unlock access to it, which earns the Sunset costs extra! badge. Once you're in, several badge opportunities open up at once.

- The in-game workplace where you build a career from your first shift all the way up to a maximum level.
- Daily quests
- Missions that refresh regularly; completing fifteen of them in total earns a badge.
- Floating crates
- Lootable containers found in the water near the beach; collecting ten earns a badge.
- AID
- An in-game support you can receive; getting it five times earns the Professional Aid Receiver badge.
- BEANS SHOP
- A shop on the map where you can buy a bat, buy other items, or attempt a robbery.
Common questions
FAQHow do I unlock the beach?
You have to unlock beach access. Doing so earns the Sunset costs extra! badge. Once you're in, the beach guard, the sea monster, and the floating crates are all within reach.
Is the lottery badge actually possible to get?
Yes, but the chance is 1 in 100 per attempt. The badge description warns you not to try this in real life.
Do I have to reach the maximum factory level to finish the career badges?
The Bean Industrialist badge only needs your first shift. The Bean Veteran badge requires hitting the maximum career level.
Can I play with friends?
Each server holds up to 25 players at once, so you and others can be in the same town at the same time.
