Tag Me Guide: How Runners and Chasers work
About
OverviewTag Me is a fast-paced Roblox tag game where up to 12 players split into Runners and Chasers. Whoever gets tagged becomes the next Chaser, so roles can flip at any moment. This guide covers how each role works, how to escape or chase effectively, and how to earn every badge the game offers.

How Runners and Chasers work
TableWhen a round starts, every player is either a Runner or a Chaser. A Chaser who tags a Runner hands the Chaser role to that Runner, so a single successful tag flips the dynamic instantly.
| Runners | dodge, sprint, vault through windows, and drop pallets to block the Chaser's path |
| Chasers | close the gap and land a tag to become a Runner yourself |
| Goal as Runner | survive the round without being tagged |
| Goal as Chaser | tag any Runner as quickly as possible |

Runner escape tactics
TipsRunners have three distinct tools for escaping.
- Sprint constantly to build a gap
- Vault through windows to cut corners and shortcut across the map
- Drop a pallet directly in a Chaser's path to slow or stop their pursuit

| Mechanic (gas station refills) | 5 refills | 25 refills | 100 refills |
| Expert (round wins) | 3 wins | 15 wins | 50 wins |

Common questions
FAQWhat do I do when I become the Chaser?
Chase the nearest Runner and land a tag to hand the Chaser role off to them. Once you tag someone, you become a Runner and they have to do the chasing.
How do redeem codes work?
Open the in-game menu, find the code field, and type in the code. Coins are added to your balance immediately. Each code works only once per account and has an expiry date, so use them as soon as you find them.
What do gas station refills unlock?
Gas station refills unlock the Mechanic Bronze, Silver, and Gold badges at 5, 25, and 100 total refills.
Does inviting a friend actually make a difference?
Yes — the game grants a 100% coin bonus when you play with an invited friend.
