HALLOWEEN
Update Log - 8 returning seasonal disguises: Hexa, Sorceress, Carolyn, Emily, Alucard, Frankenstein, Fiend, and Hollow.…
MAFIA is a social deduction game where one or more players hiding at the table are secretly killers. During the day everyone argues and votes to eliminate suspects; at night the Mafia hunt their target in first person while roles like the Doctor try to stop them. This guide covers how each phase works, what the roles do, and how to play well on either side.
The game runs in a loop of day and night until either all Mafia members are voted out or the Mafia matches or outnumbers the remaining town. During the day, every player sits at the table and the only tools available are words and votes. When night falls, the Mafia switch to a first-person view and move on their chosen target while other roles use their abilities. Whatever happened overnight is revealed when daylight returns, giving everyone new information to argue over.
There are 16 roles split between the Mafia team and the town. Mafia members know who their allies are and cooperate, while town roles each carry a secret ability and work independently. The Doctor can protect one player every night, shielding them from a Mafia kill. The Detective can learn information about another player's role.
| Mafia | works with fellow killers to reduce the town until they are equal in number or greater |
| Town (general) | finds and votes out Mafia members before being outnumbered |
| Doctor | saves one chosen player each night from a Mafia attack |
| Detective | gathers role information on other players |

The town wins by voting out every Mafia member before the numbers tip against them. That means using every scrap of information from the night reveals and from what other players claim. Listen for contradictions between a player's stated role and the results the town can see. Pooling testimony from multiple players makes it far harder for a single liar to stay hidden.
When you are assigned a Mafia role you can coordinate with your fellow Mafia members to pick targets and share plans. In public, behave the way an innocent player would — join discussions and cast votes that look reasonable. If the Doctor is protecting the target you had in mind, change targets rather than waste the kill.
Victory is binary: the town eliminates every Mafia member, or the Mafia reduces the town to parity. After the round ends, a results screen shows every player's role and how the match played out. Data does not save in private servers.
Coordinate with your Mafia partners to pick a target. During the day that follows, act like a concerned town member — join the discussion and vote convincingly.
Data does not save when you play in a private server. Switch to a public server if you want your results to be recorded.
The round ends immediately once one side meets its condition: either the town votes out all Mafia members, or the Mafia reduces the town to the same size or smaller. A results screen then shows every player's role.
