Controls to learn before your first fight
Check
The control scheme is small enough to memorize in a single session.
- M1 attacks normally, M2 hits harder with a heavy attack
- F blocks incoming damage
- W+W (tap forward twice) starts a run
- G activates your current Breathing Style
- C triggers Impulse and J triggers Crow both are extra combat actions
- 1 through 9 maps to your available skills, and M opens the main menu
Early progression path
StepThe game's progression loop is straightforward: fight enemies, level up, spend stat points, and repeat.
- Keep fighting demons combat is the primary way your character levels up and new skills open
- Spend stat points after each level
- Work toward your first Breathing Style leveling up is what unlocks them
- Redeem codes early open the Code icon on the left side of the screen and enter any codes you have to collect Spins and other rewards
Spins, clans, and stat resets
TipsTwo separate systems — clans and stats — can both be reset or rerolled, but each works differently.
- Using a Spin randomly assigns you a clan and related abilities — your clan is not chosen manually
- Clan Spins specifically reroll clan-related abilities
- If you distributed stat points badly, a stat-reset code lets you redo the allocation entirely
- Each code can only be redeemed once per account
How to redeem a code
StepThe redemption screen is easy to find and takes less than a minute to use. Rewards such as Spins appear immediately after you confirm.
- Launch open Slayerbound in Roblox and wait for the game to fully load
- Open the panel click the Code icon on the left side of the screen
- Type carefully enter the code exactly as shown in the text box that appears
- Confirm press the Redeem button to collect your reward

- A combat technique you unlock through leveling up that significantly increases your fighting power.
- Spin
- A consumable that randomly assigns a clan or ability to your character.
- Clan
- The family lineage your character belongs to, determined by using a Spin.
- Impulse
- A combat action mapped to the C key.
- Crow
- A combat action mapped to the J key.

Breathing Styles unlock as you level up your character through combat.
I put my stat points in the wrong places — can I fix it?
Yes, but you need a stat-reset code to do it. Enter the code through the Code icon, and your points will be returned for you to spend again. Each code only works once.
Where do codes come from?
Codes are announced through the developers' official social channels. They have expiry dates and can only be used once per account, so redeem them the moment you see them.
