How the night shifts are structured

Step
In short Clear all three night shifts in order to finish the story and unlock Endless Mode.

The game's story runs across three night shifts that you tackle one after another. Finishing each shift earns you a badge and moves the story forward. After Night Shift 3 wraps up the plot, Endless Mode opens up.

  1. Night Shift 1 complete your first shift to get started and earn the first badge.
  2. Night Shift 2 finish the second shift to keep the story moving and earn the second badge.
  3. Night Shift 3 clear the third shift to reach the end of the story and earn the third badge.
  4. Endless Mode once all three story shifts are done, this mode unlocks and lets you keep playing without a finish line.

Spotting the toys that are not right

Tips
In short Careful, unhurried observation is the main skill the game tests.

Your job sounds simple — repair broken toys — but some toys that come in are wrong in ways that are hard to pin down at first. Missing something can end your shift early in the worst way. These habits will help you catch anomalies before they catch you.

Tips worth knowing
  • Use headphones so you can hear audio cues that signal something is off.
  • Set graphics to maximum so small visual details are as clear as possible.
