How missions and badges work together
Summary
Missions follow the story and give you clear goals to chase. When you complete one, you earn a badge that stays on your profile permanently. For corrupted Gems, poofing or containing them also unlocks that character as a morph you can play.

Glossary- Corrupted Gem
- A Gem character that has lost control and turned hostile, drawn from the Steven Universe source material.
- Poof
- Defeating a Gem so that she retreats into her gemstone — poofing a corrupted Gem is the step that unlocks her as a playable morph.
- Contain
- An alternative to poofing used for certain characters, such as Larimar, that also unlocks them as playable morphs.
- Morph
- A playable character form you unlock by earning the matching badge, letting you appear and roleplay as that character.
- Pebble
- A type of NPC found in the Pebbletopia area; helping each one completes a small task and awards a badge.
Common questions
FAQHow do I unlock new playable characters?
Each playable character is tied to a specific badge. For corrupted Gems, you unlock the morph by poofing or containing them during exploration. Some characters, like Orange Spodumene, are unlocked just by finding and meeting them in the right location.
Is this an official Steven Universe game?
