About

Overview

Kill the Killer! is a PvP game where every player is assigned one of three roles — Killer, Hero, or Survivor — and each role has a completely different goal. Roles rotate each round, so you will need to know how to play all three.

The three roles and what each one is trying to do

Table
In short Knowing your win condition the moment the round starts is the single most important thing in this game.

Each round you are assigned one of three roles, and your goal changes completely depending on which one you get. The Killer needs to take down every other player. The Hero needs to take down the Killer. Survivors need to escape or stay alive through teamwork.

Killereliminate everyone; leave no one standing
Herohunt the Killer and take them out

Playing as a Survivor

Tips
In short Survivors win through cooperation, not through fighting alone.

Survivors have limited combat ability compared to the other roles, which means trying to go it alone is a losing strategy.

Tips worth knowing
  • Stay with at least one other player so the Killer has a harder time picking you off.
  • Explore the map to find escape routes and safe spots.
  • Keep an eye on where your teammates are so you can regroup quickly.
  • When the Killer gets close, run immediately.
03

Playing as the Hero

Check
In short The Hero is the only role that can directly stop the Killer.

The Hero has the power to take on the Killer, which makes them the team's best weapon. Beyond fighting, keeping Survivors informed about where the Killer is can buy everyone extra time.

  • Track the Killer's position.
  • Engage the Killer to draw their attention away from Survivors.
  • Warn Survivors when the Killer is heading their way.
  • Prioritize taking down the Killer that is the Hero's win condition.
04

Playing as the Killer

Step
In short The Killer's biggest challenge is managing multiple opponents at once.

As the Killer you are one player against everyone else. Reducing the number of Survivors first shrinks the group the Hero has to protect, and learning how the map is laid out lets you cut off escape routes.

  1. Target Survivors first chip away at their numbers before turning to the Hero.
  2. Track the Hero's position so you are not caught off guard when you go after them last.
  3. Learn the map layout to predict where players will try to run.
05

Playing without spending Robux

Summary
In short Every role and every rule is available to free players.

Premium players receive 300 extra starting cash. Every role is fully playable without spending anything.

  • Premium bonus 300 extra starting cash, nothing else
  • All roles fully available to free players

Common questions

FAQ

How does a round end?

A round ends when either the Killer wipes out everyone, or the Hero takes down the Killer, or the Survivors manage to escape.

Can a Survivor fight the Killer on their own?

Survivors have limited combat ability, so going one-on-one with the Killer is very hard to pull off.

Does spending Robux give you an advantage in a round?

Premium gives you 300 extra starting cash, which is the only difference.
