OverviewTwisted Playtime [Beta] is a horror escape game set inside an abandoned Poppy Playtime factory, where a giant blue fur monster is hunting you down. Your job is to solve the factory's mysteries and get out. This guide covers the tape-and-VCR puzzle system, hidden collectibles, and every badge you can unlock in Chapter 1.

How the tape-and-VCR system works
Summary
Each area of the factory hides a tape, and somewhere in or near that same area sits a VCR player. Pick up the tape, find its matching VCR player, and play it to get information that moves you forward. The tape and the VCR player are not always in the exact same spot, so knowing the pairings in advance saves a lot of wandering.
- Leith's Pierre tape found in the Main Entrance; its VCR player is in a corner of that same room
- Rich + Avery tape found in Storage and Supply; its VCR player is just outside that room
- Elliot Biography tape found inside Elliot Ludwig's Office; its VCR player is also inside that office
- Stella Interview tape found in the Make-A-Friend Room; its VCR player is up on the catwalks in that same room

Hidden trophies and where they sit
TipsTwo trophy badges are hidden in the factory and are easy to miss if you are rushing. Neither one is connected to the tape system — they are just sitting in the world waiting to be found.
- The Daisy trophy sits on Elliot Ludwig's desk inside his office
- The Train trophy is on the slide in the playground area of the Game Station

Check
If you are carrying a tape and cannot figure out what to do with it, run through this list before retracing your whole route.
- Did you pick up the tape for this area, or did you walk past it?
- Are you taking the tape to its correct VCR player, not just the nearest one you have seen?
- Have you checked the catwalks in the Make-A-Friend Room? The Stella Interview VCR player is elevated, not on the ground floor.
- Have you checked the corners of the Main Entrance? The Leith's Pierre VCR player is tucked away, not in the centre of the room.
- Is the VCR player for the Rich + Avery tape outside the Storage and Supply room rather than inside it?

Glossary
Glossary- Tape
- A collectible item hidden in a specific area of the factory that holds clues about the story when played.
- VCR player
- A device fixed to a location in the factory where you insert a tape to play back its contents.
- Catwalk
- An elevated walkway inside the factory; at least one VCR player is only reachable by getting up to catwalk level.
- Make-A-Friend Room
- A room in the factory that contains the Stella Interview tape and a VCR player positioned on the catwalks above the main floor.
- Game Station
- An area of the factory containing a playground with a slide where the Train trophy can be found.
Common questions
FAQI picked up a tape but I cannot find where to use it. What should I check?
Every tape has one matching VCR player. The Rich + Avery tape is found inside Storage and Supply but its VCR player is just outside the room. The Stella Interview VCR player is on the catwalks, not the ground floor of the Make-A-Friend Room. The Leith's Pierre VCR player is in a corner of the Main Entrance. The Elliot Biography tape and its VCR player are both inside Elliot Ludwig's Office.
What happens after I complete Chapter 1?
You earn the Completed chapter 1 badge. Chapter 2 has been announced and is coming in a future update.
Can I collect every badge in a single run?
All eight badges are tied to things you can do during normal exploration of Chapter 1. Check Elliot Ludwig's desk for the Daisy trophy and the playground slide in the Game Station for the Train trophy.
