How the game works

Summary
In short Your one goal is to keep monsters away from your plushie by placing and upgrading towers.

Every round, monsters spawn and walk toward your plushie. If they reach it, the game is over. Towers attack automatically, so your job is deciding where to place them and when to spend your money upgrading them.

  • Plushie the target you are protecting; losing it ends the run
  • Towers defensive units you place along enemy paths that attack on their own
  • Waves numbered rounds of enemies that get harder as they go up
  • Money earned by defeating enemies and spent on new towers or upgrades
  • Boss waves special rounds featuring a single, much stronger enemy
  • Upgrades improvements to a tower's damage, range, or attack speed bought with money

Getting started

Step
In short Place towers near your plushie first, then expand your coverage as money comes in.

When a run begins, check where your plushie is sitting and place towers along enemy paths to prevent monsters from reaching it. Every enemy you defeat gives you more money to work with.

  1. Find your plushie locate it on the map so you know what you are defending
  2. Place towers along enemy paths and approach routes
  3. Let your towers attack automatically and collect the money enemies drop
03

Spending your money wisely

Tips
In short Focusing money on a few strong towers beats spreading it thin across many weak ones.

Money earned by defeating enemies can be used to upgrade existing towers, raising their damage, range, and attack speed.

Tips worth knowing
  • Focus upgrades on fewer towers rather than spreading money across many
  • Start upgrading early
  • If a wave feels impossible, retrying earlier waves to farm more money is a valid approach
04

Surviving boss waves

Check
In short Boss waves demand concentrated firepower, so make sure your strongest towers cover the boss's path before the wave begins.

Bosses are single enemies that can absorb far more damage than regular monsters. Multiple high-performing towers working together are needed to bring one down.

  • Check that your main towers are sufficiently upgraded
  • Check that the boss's approach route is covered by multiple towers
05

Redeem codes

Tips
In short Redeeming a code gives you a reward that helps in the early game.

The game hands out codes that you enter in an in-game input box. Codes can expire, so use them as soon as you have them. This site tracks one working code right now — check the code section of this page to redeem it.

Tips worth knowing
  • Find the code input box inside the game
  • Redeem codes as soon as you see them because they can stop working at any time

Common questions

FAQ

What happens if an enemy reaches my plushie?

The run ends immediately.

I don't have enough money to place another tower. What should I do?

Wait until the current wave is fully cleared and collect all the money enemies drop. If that still is not enough, retrying an earlier wave to earn more money is an option.

I keep losing to the boss. What should I change?

Upgrade your main towers further, or review your tower placement to make sure the boss's route is covered by multiple towers.
