Controls you need to know before your first fight

Check
In short Learning every movement option before you fight gives you a serious edge over players who only know how to sprint and swing.

Every player starts with Fists as a default weapon. Attack with M1, parry with F, and trigger a Finisher with R. Movement gets more interesting once you layer crouching and sprinting together.

  • Parry (F) press it while an opponent is mid-swing to stun them; miss the timing and you take the hit with added endlag instead
  • Sprint (Shift) basic speed boost; combine it with crouching to slide
  • Slide (Shift + C while sprinting) gives a small speed boost and keeps your momentum going
  • Dropkick (C while airborne after sprinting) deals around 15 damage, same as a Wooden Bat swing
  • Airslide (slide immediately after jumping) carries you farther than a ground slide
  • Dingslide (Airslide, then hold Space and release C just before landing) launches you upward for the biggest movement burst in the game

First steps as a new player

Step
In short Grabbing a Wooden Bat from the shop is the single most important thing you can do in your first minute.

You spawn with Fists, which deal less damage than any purchasable weapon. Head into the Human Safezone and open Notif's Shop by walking up to the prompt near the front of the area. From there, build up currency and keep upgrading your loadout.

  1. Enter the Safezone the barriers only let human players through, so you are safe from Infecteds while you shop
  2. Buy a Wooden Bat it costs 75 currency, the cheapest weapon available, and unlocks the First Item badge
  3. Keep leveling up badges are awarded at levels 10, 20, 50, and 100, giving you long-term goals to work toward
  4. Equip your loadout in the Inventory tab you can carry one weapon, up to six emotes, and up to seven items at a time (six items if you own the Boombox gamepass)

All weapons below are available in the shop. Damage and cooldown are the two stats that matter most in a fight; range tells you how close you need to get.

Healing and utility items

Tips
In short Utility items can shift a fight in your favor, but their long cooldowns mean you only get one chance to use them well.

Several items in the shop restore health or apply effects instead of dealing damage. Most carry cooldowns of 45 seconds or longer, so using them at the wrong moment wastes them entirely.

Tips worth knowing
  • Almond Water heals 15 HP but has a 60-second cooldown and a slower use time than other healing items; you must find it on the map before you can buy it for 750 currency
  • Coconut Drink costs 1,000 currency, heals 10 HP, and also cuts incoming damage to one-third of normal for 5 seconds
  • Water Trident must be found on the map before purchase at 5,000 currency; it pulls nearby players toward you and stuns them briefly
  • Egg Launcher costs 2,500 currency and slows whoever it hits for 2 seconds with no damage
  • Bunny Ears are earned by finding all eggs during the Easter event and grant a 5-second speed boost on use
05

Playing as an Infected

Summary
In short Infecteds play an entirely different game from Humans, relying on the Grab tool and map pressure rather than shop weapons.

Once your infection level hits 100%, you become an Infected. The Safezone barriers will bounce you back, and an invisible kill brick inside the zone kills you instantly if you somehow slip past. Fighting happens entirely outside the Safezone.

  • Starting tool Infected players automatically receive the Grab item, which lets them seize other players
  • Safezone completely off-limits; do not attempt to push through the barrier
  • Shop access Infected players cannot use the shop, so plan your loadout before you turn
06

Hidden badges and secrets worth finding

Tips
In short Two hidden objectives give you a reason to explore the map beyond just fighting.

Most badges come from leveling up or buying from the shop, but two require you to actually look around the map.

Tips worth knowing
  • Spider Zak — find the spider named Zak somewhere on the map to earn this badge
  • Completed Easter 2026 Event — collecting all eggs during the 2026 Easter event awards this badge and also unlocks the Bunny Ears item, which provides a 5-second speed boost on use
  • Get Infected — simply become an Infected once
  • Level badges — reaching levels 10, 20, 50, and 100 each award their own badge
07

Gamepasses worth knowing about

Table
In short Both gamepasses change how you interact with the game rather than giving you a direct combat advantage.

Two gamepasses are sold in the shop's Gamepasses tab.

Boombox (R$199)lets you play any Roblox audio freely; note that owning it reduces your item slots from seven to six
Custom Infected (R$299)lets you design the avatar your character changes into each time you become Infected; supports multiple saved designs, but you must paste accessory IDs manually since there is no built-in catalog search

Common questions

FAQ

What should I buy first from the shop?

Start with the Wooden Bat for 75 currency — it is the cheapest weapon available and immediately outperforms Fists.

Can Infecteds use the shop or enter the Safezone?

No. The Safezone barriers push Infecteds back automatically, and an invisible kill brick inside the zone kills any Infected who slips through. The shop is inside the Safezone, so Infecteds have no way to access it.

What is the Grab tool and how does it work?

Grab is an item automatically given to every Infected player. It lets you physically grab other players during a match. You cannot buy it from the shop — it just appears when you become Infected.

Does the Boombox gamepass cost me anything other than Robux?

Yes — owning the Boombox reduces your item inventory slots from seven to six.

How do I do a dropkick?

Sprint with Shift, jump, and then press C while you are still in the air. The dropkick deals around 15 damage, the same as a Wooden Bat swing.
